Need a win tonight to get back on track and I think we will. Staal back and dylan sitting but with ice time the kids been getting lately doesn't matter much. Not happy Dylan is starting to do the girardi and staal knee slides on the ice which I'm convinced now is taught by ulf and is useless.

In strong endorsement, AV says McIlrath is playing at NHL level, just had bad night vs Hawks.

Hilarious. Chew another pack of gum Av. Your actions and playing time speak louder than your useless words. And by the way despite your attempts to sabotage the kid while looking the other way with the defensive play of boyle in particular but also girardi and klein who are both hurt and probably shouldn't be playing Dylan has been playing at an nhl level almost since day 1 this season.

That's total bullshit...the only mistake he made was a blind breakout pass but he got bailed out by Stepan I think -who stepped in front of the Hawk player. He was not the cause of the ridiculous screen goal on the PP ...he actually stepped aside so he wouldnt cause a screen. You're right on with him looking the other way on Girardi and Boyle...both of whom got exposed at key times last night

Not even worth complaining about AV anymore. He's an average coach who got exposed last year in the playoffs and teams continue to expose his system. Forecheck and take away the boards and AVs system is stopped. AV doesn't adjust either, so if, as an opponent, you can do both of those things you can almost always guarantee yourself a win. I'm over it. This team is dull and boring with no heart, just like this coach. And stop with the "he got us to this and that in the past" nonsense. So did Torts. Why isn't he here anymore? Because his system wore out the players. AV's system doesn't work, especially not with this team.

We should fire everybody. Seems completely rational.

When the team has no heart and the coach's system is proven to be ineffective against playoff caliber teams, and he refuses to adjust his game plan and refuses to replace poor specialty coaches and continuously plays Boyle and Girardi and Staal and Klein over Dylan? Yes. He should be fired. You want to keep being middle of the pack under AV and not win a Cup or compete for one then keep AV.

That should be a 5 minute major, game misconduct and a match penalty. Another game Dylan in the stands, another game a team takes a run at our guys. Starting to NOT be a coincidence.

Yup a trip to the finals and game seven of the ECF clearly shows ineffectiveness against playoff teams. Plus, their position in the standings currently is such a disgrace it certainly calls for the firing of another head coach.

This is where I tell Glass to take out one of their "stars" and fuck the NHL. The NHL consistently allows teams to run our guys, so we need to retaliate.

And Torts did NONE of that, right? And once again, that's the PAST. You're a joke mess. Please stoo brining up THE PAST. This season, which was shown last year in the playoffs, folds under forechecking pressure and struggles to get the puck out of the zone when the boards are taken away from them. It started against the Pens last year in the playoffs, was a MAJOR reason why Tampa beat us last year (we didn't score goals because we couldn't get out of our zone) and continues to be the reason we struggle this year. It's a simple fucking fix. COMMIT YOUR FORWARDS TO DEFENSE AND STOP COACHING THEM TO FLY THE ZONE WHEN ONE OF OUR DMEN SIMPLY TOUCH THE PUCK. It's obvious by this point that these dmen can't handle a forecheck so HELP THEM OUT WITH YOUR FORWARDS. It's not fucking rocket science.

At this point you gotta play Dylan with McD. Oh I forgot, we have to play relic Boyle every single game. The teams have been taking runs at McD for YEARS.

Once they paired Beuk with Leetch, no one was taking runs at Leetch.

Who gives a crap about Torts. He lasted ten minutes in Vancouver and will be out of Columbus soon enough. You don't go firing people as soon as something is not perfect. It's silly knee jerk reaction stuff.

Just got home but my buddies blowing up phone with clip of mcd getting targeted again as soon as dylan goes back in press box. AV is a moron at this point if he thinks he doesn't need dylan out there as a deterrent. Plus the kid can actually play. Starting next game if mcd ok dylan needs to be paired permanently with mcd going forward. Rangers up 2-1 so how are they playing overall so far?
