Ranta is having an outstanding game. The Rangers had no legs early but then started skating.

Glad to hear that. Raanta needs to carry some of the load so hank doesn't get burnt out

Lucky that they are playing trash team. Managed to blow another lead at the end of the game.

One of the garbage wins I've ever seen. Good for Raanta. The guy seemed like he was gonna cry after the tying goal.

What exactly is a garbage win? Why are you endlessly miserable?

Wins this time of year are important. Especially, the second of a back to back with Ranta in goal. I'm sorry it spoils the miserable agenda pit some of you prefer to mire yourself in.

LOL...mess. You cant be serious. They won because of Raanta. That was a disgraceful performance for the most part against trash of the NHL. Brass line showed up at least.

Almost gave up the game in last 2 minutes. Why boyle on the ice I'll never know. Somehow blatant crosscheck on moore in front of the refs nose in the crease and subsequent tap in goal not called by refs who didn't miss a ranger penalty in the third. Great play by miller on both last minute ranger goals although won't get credit for the second goal with an assist he deserved. Raanta very good third period. I really hope this is last game Dylan sits as the rangers really need what the kid brings out there but I won't be holding my breath on it. With the injury to mcd, no nash or hank good win against anyone. Take it and run to the next game.

McD is a target on this Ranger team. And for a coach
and management on this team to not play
McIlrath is telling the opponents......"hey, come
bash our guys in the head because we don't
    play that way."

Imagine giving your opponent permission without
any pay back. Really annoyed about this.

It goes against AV's pacifist philosophy

McIlrath in the lineup is not going to prevent everything from ever happening. These hits are still taking place all over the league. It's not going to change until heavy fines and stiff suspensions become the deterrent. Too often though we see no hearings and no suspensions which allows it to continue.

A pacifist coach will never lead this team to a Stanley Cup!

Mess, this league has had its 'head in the sand' forever.
They pick their spots, instead of acting with harsh
consequences. There will be more law suits a la the NFL.

I've seen it too often in this league now. I'm very curious to see what punishment tonight's elbow received because it should be a five game suspension. The league will make a stand against Wideman with a twenty game suspension because a ref got hit but still be lenient when it comes to the safety of their own players.

Mess, I agree it won't prevent everything from happening but most of these cheap shot artists play it close to the vest when they know he's around and will immediately deal out a beating to them. I noticed last games against isles and caps who notoriously run our players they were very quiet with dylan out there. In the press box McD cheapshotted twice in recent games. And the other reason for christ sake is the kid is one of their best defenseman especially on defense

This one will be different because it is second time in 2 weeks with mcd, a lot more reaction around the league from the hit and the thug who did it not that it should matter is not a star player. This one I think gets at least 3 games.

Too bad they don't play the Leafs again. I would have liked to see Mac, Glasser, or Kleiner beat up Komorov like the pussy that he is

Let's see, no McIlrath, McDonagh gets punched in the face. McIlrath plays, Simmonds does nothing nor does Gudas who has been running at players every game in head hunting fashion. No McIlrath, McDonagh gets cheap shotted again. I'll take my chances with McIlrath in the line up each game.
