<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Sixers have been working on a potential buyout of the remainder of Chris Webber's contract, according to a source.Webber has missed nine out of the last 12 games. He sat out Friday with flu like symptoms.Just how far along discussions have gone on a buyout remain unclear. King did not respond to two e-mail messages from the Daily News last night and was unavailable for comment.</div>Philadelphia Daily NewsIf this happens, it will be the best move Billy King has made in his years as our GM.Also, if Webber is indeed bought out, where do you think he will sign? We all know he won't get 1/4 of the contract he currently has, but what kind of team do you think would need/want him, and where do you think he'd want to play? I think he would love to play in Detroit because that is where he grew up, but I don't think the Pistons want a lazy defensive player like Webber.

I'm not excited about him signing with the Pistons. I would welcome him, but I don't want him to come to Detroit. I think he could fit in Chicago, like the rumors say. Another good fit could be New Jersey, who needs low post bodies.

He will most likely try and sign with a contender so keep that in mind.

:dribble: Awesome! I am really sick of his attitude and terrible defense. He is just not what he used to be and this would work out perfectly. Do it King!

I think LakersNets would be a good fit since they need a PF, but he won't wanna go there probably. And this actually is not good. Sixers should have just let his money come of the books. We still gotta pay the guy pretty much the whole contract to play for another team. Yeah Billy King way to go.

But if they contract is now gone, and with Joe Smith expiring from the AI deal hmm we should have lots of cap. And if Miller is traded for expiring, and a first even more cap.Aight I though since they still actually gotta pay him it counts against there cap. NVM lol
