If I had to pick any player one the Magic that isn't playing fully to their potential (I really don't want to), I think that would be Darko Milicic. He's not a constant under-achiever, but I do think that he could definitely contribute more than he has the first 30 games of the season. Maybe it was a good idea for the Magic to wait on that contract extension.Who else is under-achieving on your team?
For the Jazz I would have to say Andrei Kirilenko. he has done hardly anything this year. last nghts game he had 14 points, like 6 boards, and 4 blocks and thats been his best game of the year.
Flip Flippin Murray. He's been the worst guy off the bench for us this year. He hogs the ball, takes bad shots, misses easy ones, and sulks when he doesn't get PT. Followed by Dyess, but he's just starting to get it going again. I'm not worried about him.
Underachieving? Wally Szczerbiak. He has been playing terrible and his shots arent falling at all, but we all know he is a very good shooter. He had a great game last night so hopefully he's coming around, but only God knows.. he's so INconsistent.hahahaha huge typo
Delfino is not showing the Manu potential that he has been compared too. Otherwise, we are not underachieving. I think Tayshaun could score more, but there are a ton of options on offense.

Gibson has done more then him and we drafted him 2nd Round. Also Mike Brown, the Coach has done a UGLY Job this season and I have pretty much lose my faith in him.Other then those 2, Hughes just needs to stay 100% please oh please!
James Jones. I don't know where his shooting went. He was good last year and is supposedly automatic in practices. He's a very good player if he can just get that shot going for him.Just him I think...I expected a little better out of Marcus Banks too.

I mean, you must see him more often than I do, but when I do see him, I don't see Manu Ginobili. I like the way he plays and if he gets more PT, he could easily get 15-20.

If that is Danny Ferry's way of surrounding LeBrin James with quality players, the owners will need a Quicken Loan to make for lack of ticket sales.
So far this season, who is underachieving for the Celtics? Hmm...Sebastian TelfairThe kid has a ton of potential, and he's not done improving by any means. He's only 21, but he has not played as well or as consistently as I thought he would at all. He played very well in preseason, and he played pretty well in November, but in December, he was terrible. Seriously, bad. In October/November, he attacked the basket, displayed an excellent drive and kick game, set up the offense very well, and he was shooting that 15 foot pull-up beautifully. In December, he did the exact opposite of everything in my last sentence. I don't know what happened. Result: he lost his starting job.Wally Szczerbiak has in a sense. I mean, he did have knee surgery and he did sprain both of his ankles in the same month, so I can sort of see why he had a terrible shooting slump in December. But when he was with the Wolves, he was Mr. Consistent and Mr. Reliable. He'd shoot the ball around 50% from the floor and he'd always be one of the top free throw shooters in the NBA. Last year, when he was in Boston, he did a good job. He was everything I thought he'd be. This season, he started off ON FIRE, so I was very happy. But ever since the first 2-3 weeks of the season, he has been incredibly inconsistent, and he defense has always been pretty poor. When his shot isn't falling, he brings basically nothing else to the table except a veteran presence. When his shot is off, it's horrid to watch him on the floor, and he has been very inconsistent this season (something he never has been). I expected more, and I think almost every Celtic fan did as well.I wouldn't go as far as saying Perk is a disappointment this year, because of the plantar fasciitis. That's a very nagging injury, and I give him credit for playing solid basketball through that injury in the beginning of the year. The only reason for Perk not being mighty successful this season is that plantar fasciitis (which seems to be an injury that a LOT of NBA players are coming up with lately).Delonte West, one of my favorite guys, started the season off terribly. He couldn't find his shot 4/5 times he took the floor and he didn't flourish in the 6th man combo guard role as well as everybody thought he would (including Doc and Ainge). But now that he's back in his starting role and his confidence is back up, he has been playing good basketball. There are two things that ruined Delonte's start to this season:1. He came into the league as a SG in college, then Doc groomed him as a PG for 2 years. In his second year, he had a great year as our point guard. Then, the organization slapped Delonte in the face by bringing in two young playmakers. And to top if off, they started one of them over him.2. They tried to move Delonte to the 2 full-time. That did not work out, because Delonte is only about 6'2'', 6'3'' at the most, and he had to defend and get shots off over 6'5''-6'6'' guys that were much stronger than him.Now that Delonte's confidence is back up and he's back in the starting role, he has been playing good basketball.Other than Bassy and Wally, I wouldn't really say anyone else is really a disappointment. Big Al and Tony Allen have been great, Rondo was doing great until Doc benched him for not being able to shoot (which is absolutely absurd), Gerald Green has made some big improvements, Pierce has been Pierce, etc. I guess I'll say that Gomes has been up and down lately, but that's because of the calf injury and the fact that he rushed back. He started off playing excellent ball though.Injuries have totally screwed this team:- Pierce is out right now with a stress reaction in his left foot.- Wally had knee surgery in the summer time, had a sore back in November, and sprained both of his ankles in December.- Theo Ratliff, who would have been a great presence for us, is out for season and will have back surgery. He only played in 2 games for us.- Kendrick Perkins has been battling plantar fasciitis.- Al Jefferson had an appendectomy and is currently playing through a sore right hamstring.- Delonte West has had back problems ever since October.- Michael Olowokandi strained an abdomen.- Gomes had a calf injury.- Scal had the flu.Oh yeah, even our announcer (Tommy Heinsohn) had back surgery at the end of December and he has missed 6 games this year. Jesus... even Tommy!
Kirk Hinrich needs to step up and become our leader because he just hasn't playing like he's the leader of the Bulls. He gets into foul trouble and doesn't take over late in games. Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, and Andres Nocioni are playing very well this season and are all possible all-stars. I am really impressed in Luol's game and I think the coaches in the East will recognize his game and place him on the all-star team because he deserves it.

Larry Hughes was playin crappy earlier this season well o wait he wasnt playing at all but hes back now so thats ok
Diop isn't playing up to the level he played last season. How do you go from the starter to losing your backup job to Dampier?!?Of course, Damp played well enough to take the starting C position from him.

Diop has been decent but he could play a lot better.
