These were sprinkled throughout the game thread, but I wanted to separate them because this is truly a special night for one of the best in our franchise's history. Damian Lillard is the only player to record 50+ points, 7+ assists and 6+ steals in a game since steals became a stat in 1973-74 (Elias). Damian Lillard becomes only 4th player to have at least 50 Pts, 5 Ast & 5 Stl. (via @EliasSports) Damian Lillard joins Stephen Curry (2/27/13 at NY) as the only NBA players ever with 50+ points, 9+ 3-PT and 75% 3-PT or better. Damian Lillard is the first NBA player with 50+ points, 7+ assists and 0 turnovers in a game since Reggie Miller (11/28/92 at Charlotte). Only 3 times before tonight has a player gone for 50+ points, 5+ assists, and 5+ steals in the regular season: 2-12-05, Allen Iverson, 60 points, 6 assists, 5 steals (3 turnovers, 42 minutes) 12-20-04, Allen Iverson, 51 points, 6 assists, 7 steals (7 turnovers, 47 minutes) 3-18-88, Michael Jordan, 50 points, 9 assists, 5 steals (1 turnover, 42 minutes) 2-19-16, Damian Lillard, 51 points, 7 assists, 6 steals (0 turnovers, 31 minutes)
Best all-round game in recorded NBA history. Not the best scoring game, but the best all-round game when you take into account opponent record, stats, and the ever-important win.

I think we just inserted ourselves into the NBA storyline tonight. Dame loses four starters, then leads his Bad News Blazers up from nothing to a win against the champs.
So this Dame guy is pretty good, no wonder LMA didn't want to stay here, LMA knew it was only a matter for time before Lillard wasn't just sharing the spotlight with him but kicking him out of it.
Those two back to back plays when he dove on the floor to steal the ball are what stick out to me most. He was going to win this game no matter what. And we all know with Dame. Winning = tearing your opponent's heart out and stomping on it. That boy knows how to capture a moment.
Dame's proven again and again that he's deserving of being the franchise leader and legend that he's become. LMA was jealous because he wasn't the "straw that stirred the drink" and he's proving that he can't with San Antonio. Dame is just like.... to use a phrase, "our big toe." Just like Sergeant Hulka was in Stripes. And we took our newest, 'bestest' big toe and we shoved it right up Golden State's butt!
New stat per Reddit: Damian Lillard has set the record for least playing time to score 50 points in a game. He did it in 31 mins 6 seconds, previous record was 31mins 20 seconds held by Kobe
Anyone see that Warriors fan cheering for Dame right before he hit his last 3? He's a god. He's purifying bamdwagon fans.
