I have no plugins, addons, or apps on my computer or smartphone for Tapatalk. The Blazers don't either. Listen, I don't want to turn this into some weird debate or argument. The Blazers brought a problem to my attention, I looked into it first to see if it was on my end or if there was something I could do not to have that ad embed into tweets. I can't find anything. It seems to point to Tapatalk. I don't like the Tapatalk screen that @santeesioux was referring to either. I want to get rid of the Tapatalk functionality for the forum because I can't find anyway else to solve the problem.
I used to also. But you can put a shortcut to the site on your phone home screen. It basically makes the webpage an app-looking icon.
I've been using tapatalk but only because I didn't realize the browser version is now usable. I'm happy to get rid of tapatalk. barfo
I was a big fan of tapatalk before we switched to XenForo. The new software has a responsive design and I find the UX superior to tapatalk. People who aren't so nerdy might have trouble changing the way they use the site. We are not going to advertise tapatalk in our tweets. It's one thing to tell people hitting our site that tapatalk is an option. But this is a company being evil.
When do you think the Tapatalk ad will stop embedding in tweets? Hopefully in the ToS agreement they don't have the right to do it forever.
I was never a fan of it. Tried it a couple times and gave up. I view the site via Safari on my phone and it's great.
I think Twitter's servers have the content for that tweet cached. You need to try a brand new tweet. There's no trace of "tapatalk" in the web pages:
