I didn't watch the game.........can someone explain the box score to me?

Why did Doug score so many points? And what kind of lineups were used that allowed Felicio to play so many minutes? And did he play as well as his box score suggests?

The Doug outburst seems incredibly surprising since he gets his shots out out flow, and there's usually way too much iso-ball from us to support 17 shots from him.

Did the team magically rewire itself tonight, or was it one of those games where a guy just gets insanely hot and everyone knows it and keeps feeding him?

Okay, looking at these highlights from Felicio has me excited:

It really looks to me like his game translates at the NBA level. I never understood why Cameron was getting playing time over him.....Cristiano always looked like the better NBA prospect.

Offensively he seems to play with the instincts of a guard, and his low center of gravity gives him an ability to be effective in the paint on both offense and defense despite being a below-the-rim player.

I actually wonder if his presence makes Niko expendable this offseason.

No Kirk. Better chance of winning.

McDermott scores 30, Bulls halt losing slide, beat Raptors

Chicago Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg pulled Doug McDermott aside Friday between practice and their game against the Toronto Raptors.

He told McDermott that he had a lot of confidence in McDermott's shot -- the one he had as the nation's leading scorer at Creighton -- and that he needed him to put the ball up.

"I told him every time he shoots the ball, I think it's going in," Hoiberg said. "And to go out there and play his game, and play with confidence."

McDermott did just that, scoring a career-high 30 points off the bench to lead the Bulls to a 116-106 win over the Atlantic-leading Raptors, putting an end to their five-game slide.
