Ready for snub 2.0? What do you want to bet that the league gives WC player of the week to Anthony Davis instead of Dame?

Considering the level of the opposition, it shouldn't be, but you're probably right.

It's not just the scoring, but the rebounding. Too bad, because it was only one game.

We only beat the Warriors. They beat a depleted lottery Pistons team.

You're applying logic and logic has no place in this discussion. Was it logical that dame didn't make the all star team?

One thing about Dame, what he may sometimes lack in consistency, he more than makes up for in clutchness. He is the kind of player that wills his team to victory. IOW: An MVP. Last night, when the Blazers looked on the verge of getting swamped, Dame stepped up and made 4 clutch 3s in a row. It was surreal. The rest of the game, he missed every three he took, like 6 or 8 of them. But when we needed him to step up, he delivered. Same in the fourth quarter with the game on the line. He found ways to score when we needed him. That's what Lillard time is all about.

Having that guy who isn't afraid of a big moment, willing to take and make big shots, and can get buckets when you NEED buckets..... that type of player is hard to find. We had that in Roy, but we didn't have that guy on the Sheed/Pippen/Smith team. Dame is a truly special player. We are very lucky to have him.

You lock yourself in the panic room until Lillard time is over.

    The purge 0: Lillard time.

Absolutely - and we saw it last night. Utah's a very solid team, but I felt confident that we had the guy that could win a game late whereas they were trying to do it by committee.

They have 2 guys: Hayward and Hood, both who have hit multiple clutch shots this year. Hayward just hit a game winning shot at the buzzer last week.

But for some reason, they went into Favors when they most needed a bucket last night. Props to Stotts for foreseeing this and subbing Ed in to guard him. Baffling why they didn't go to the other two after Dame kept getting killed on that defensive switch every time.

I think Favors called Favors's number when he caught the pass. I don't know if it was meant to stay with him, but we'd covered everyone pretty tight on the perimeter.
