A Majority of Voters have packed Congress with a Republican Majority of seats to show their absolute disgust in Obama's policies, Executive overreaches, backdoor deals, illegal gunrunning to drug cartels, refusal to enforce immigration laws, attempts to finish off the struggling middle class, attacks on The Constitution, invasion of privacy of all Americans... A Majority of voters. So fuck your polls. Unless they don't vote this time, they will add President Trump to their stable. Then they will select a Judge or 2, or maybe 3.
Your problem is there are no proposed Amendments to The Constitution that are worthy of consideration. Not a single one that a majority of Americans believe is needed. We've got a pretty excellent system, it's just that we fell to a coup by the MIC back in 1963 and we need someone to round the buggers up and prosecute them and their offspring.
I don't claim republicans have a mandate. Nor am I the fool that bought into "never let a good crisis go to waste." That was Obama's chief of staff explaining how they should use the financial crisis (and make it worse) to ram unpopular left wing policies down our throats.
