I'll check it out when it opens. Haven't really cared about the chick fil a. Not really looking forward to in n out coming to Portland in the coming years. Overrated. Shake shack though, that place needs to get here now.
Mother's is a great brunch spot. Sat next to Harry Glickman there one time. Try the wild salmon hash sometimes....
Meh, its a national chain. I'm sure I could probably find 20 versions of Biscuits and Gravy done better at restaurants throughout Portland.
Ha! The Cracker Barrel is a great place to eat, I use to seek them out when I was on the road. Now we see the hate oozing out from the Portland City boys with their liberal anti southern correct thinking. Entertaining as hell reading this forum.
Cracker Barrel isn't as disgusting as Denny's or IHOP, not even close. However, it isn't that great either. I think we may have one here, or opening soon but we have 4000 other restaurants I would rather go to first. I've been to the one in Kingman Az and it was busy but there isn't really anywhere else to go there.
Speaking of "salt air", the Chalet restaurant and bakery in Newport has fantastic biscuits and gravy, and pretty much everything else. Worth the stop whenever I'm out that way.
We're getting them in LA soon, so I guess Portland should get one in about 7 years. :MARIS61: The Habit is dope, they are starting to open in Washington.
Mother's is the bomb, but their biscuits n gravy are too heavy for me. They love their butter in all of their recipes and I think a lot makes it into the gravy.
well, since you've had the senior discount for 25 years, I'd imagine that it's very cost effective. Don't blame you a bit!
We have one and my son actually worked there. Its a chain and its run like a chain. It will get old fast especially if a Texas Road House moves into the same mall.
Denny's patrons are heavy on the syrup, but they never throw you out, no matter what you say. The owner lets you insult him. I like Denny's.
