Everyone all over this country thinks that global warming is causing these warmer temperatures...do you hear about how we are breaking temperatures? BCB I generally consider you as an intelligent guy. But Global warming IS happening and we ARE f*cking sh*t up! For every oil company scientist stooge saying there is nothing happening, there is 100 REAL scientists saying we's be F*cked! It may not be the reason that the temps are high..like you said we always get hot year every so often but global warming is a serious issue!

Every hurricane = Global warming, every warm day in the winter = global warming, too much rain = global warming, too little rain = global warming...etc...
While I believe some of the stuff Al Gore said in "An Inconvenient Truth", I do side with BCB in saying that it was a scare tactic. But I will say thet Global Warming IS REAL, but it isn't as big of a deal as its being made out to be, and will have vitrually no affect on our generation.
honestly it probably won't take affect for another like 100 years....even then it wont be as serious as they're making it out to be
isn't it obvious we're in a cycle?the earth gets cool for a few hundred years then hot for a few hundred, nothing at all to worry about

I believe the tempatures are rising, and yes some of it is due to pollution caused by humans. but I also think the Earth is warming up because its a natural cycle. if you look back through the history of the Earth is warms and cools all the time. but just because its natural doesn't mean we shouldn't be concerned, but at the same time I don't think we need to panic and change our way of life immidiatly. the notion that humans can distroy the world is wrong and very egotistical. we cannot distory the world, we can distory ourselves, and almost all life on Earth but we will never be able to completly distroy it. the Earth however, can distroy us, and can do so whenever it pleases.
I hate this high temperature, I had a hockey game at aan outdoor hocjkey rink today and it was covered in water, we of course played the game anyways and it was the worst. You dont know how it feels to skate in water. But yeah Gloval Warming is going to happen but the good news is even if it does start the next ice age, a ton of people will survive. If Nomads could survive it we can.
It use to snow in September in Canada. Then it went to November and December. Now it's the beginning of January and we still haven't had a snow fall. I'm sure it has to do something with Global Warming.

How can you guys not believe that global warming is happening now. Granted I don't believe that what we are having now is global warming. But I think that the temperatures are improving slowly. I mean, all of these studies aren't lying about the huge gaping hole in the ozone layer over the north pole. I believe that in the short run, you can't tell global warming from weird fluctuation, but in the long term we will see the affects.
