Global warming is real, check out Greenland, it's melting and getting smaller and one island has already been covered by global warming. If the whole Greenland melts, that's +20 feet of water that is coming into out lands, plus we lose the water that is extracted from the ice for drinking. If you noticed, when the carbon level rises the temperature rises because of all the carbon that is created by companies and factories. In one day humans create 7 milllion hundred tons of carbon each day. Just my 42 cents.
yeah its happening, but its a earthly process, like I said earlier, its going to happen with or without our contribution, but its a LLLLLLLLOOOONNNNNGGGG process, some people think that in 10 yrs we're going to be going through a major ice age which is stupid.
We'll be dead by then. But it could be in three days and we wil float unconciously to the top like fish.
I think its going down. I mean Yeah it was messed up before but everyyear its getting worse . Have we even hit 30 degrees yet?? in nyc by the way.... I dont even think we have.. I mean glob warming isnt gonna happen over nite. these are just signs of it .
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Clangus @ Jan 6 2007, 06:37 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>BCB I generally consider you as an intelligent guy. But Global warming IS happening and we ARE f*cking sh*t up! For every oil company scientist stooge saying there is nothing happening, there is 100 REAL scientists saying we's be F*cked! It may not be the reason that the temps are high..like you said we always get hot year every so often but global warming is a serious issue!</div>Agreed. There have been 1/1500 real scientific articles that disagree with global warming over the last ten years. That's pretty overwhelming evidence.

Seriously, I have been working with NOAA since 96, and believe me, the subject is WIDE-OPEN. There really isn't any evidence to support anyside of this debate. If you'll notice though, the last few centuries have been unusually stable. Earths climate normally fluctuates violently. Any of you guys look up the mini ice-age? sh*t, in the 1970's, they were saying it was global cooling.
