This was like the most I've ever heard from Meyers. Sounds so frustrated about his lack of consistent PT. Maybe he should focus that anger and frustration into getting better. But Harkless said the same thing earlier this year when he was getting DNPs all of a sudden and anywhere between 10-30 minutes a night. But the dude sounds like a worker. I like that he doesn't let this affect his level of engagement with the team. Also, about playing the 4: "I hate it."
Haven't listened yet; but I know he was dirt poor and they slept on the floor with no bed. His dad died when he was young so it was just him and mom and brother. Even if he fails in the NBA he's made enough to be set financially for life. He seems like a great person; not sure if he's a rotational NBA player.
I like hearing that. Means he does not have to be convinced his future is banging down low with other centers. (as opposed to LA who said he prefered not to play the 5)
Are you being sarcastic? By the way, you catching the games this weekend? I'll be at the Chicago game then driving down to Indy the day after for that game too. Got seats 3 rows behind courtside from work. Super pumped.
No sarcasm. I didn't know the details. Still figuring out my plans but I wanna catch em in Indy if I can make it (might actually be driving up to CHI during the wknd). But if I do go, I'm still trying to figure out how many tickets to get. If it's more people than expected, we might stick to the balcony. Drive safely-- heard from my buddy that tons of people ended up in the ditch on 65 near Purdue yesterday. Courtside! Wow.
Yeah it was snowy yesterday but completely cleared up today. It's supposed to 62 degrees (!!!!) on Sunday so I expect things should go smoothly. Bulls tickets are so much more expensive than Pacers though man, hope you can find a good deal if you're going.
