Ill read tonight, but at first glance that almost seems like a slap in the face to the rest of the team. I get it but, I dunno if I would have said it if I were him. Easy way to kill morale.

 

Unclutch your pearls. There's a big difference between a 20 win team and a 40 win team, and everyone knows that.

 

You need to read the entire quote:

Quality, undervalued players that can have a long term impact on this organization doesn't sound like a slap in the face to guys like Aminu, Ed Davis, Mo Harkless, etc. Neil recognized value and went out and got it. And, as he says, those guys are thriving in the Blazers system and culture.

Now THAT makes sense. But the sig worthy quote leads to misunderstanding of the actual quote.

So many Portland articles. We're definitely the flavor of the week...feels like a letdown usually happens after something like this.

 

I have never seen this many articles on our team within a one week time frame.

This is so true and my biggest worry at the moment. This game as of now holds way more importance than any we have had since the all star break. GS was an incredible win, but this game is more important to the psych of the team and the media.

This is a key game for us we win we have tie breaker with them. Plus we go on tough road schedule after this game. So a win is really big before the road trip.
