When I read that yesterday, I seriously thought about asking my 13-year-old daughter to enter for me. No joke.

Actually a pair of athletic shoes costs an average of 12 bucks. When I was a home inspector eons back, I did a job for the Marketing Director of FUBU who gave me a pair of shitty athletic shoes and he revealed the trade secret of what they really cost. All the soles are made by two factories in Taiwan. Many dopes buy 125 dollar shoes and some idiots pay thousands for a pair of sporting a MJ tag from the 80's.

Eh. The Ducks are basically a way for Nike to test out new design ideas. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I can't complain about that relationship as a fan.
