Well, the East is shaping up to be the worst conference the League has ever had in quite some time. The only 2 teams that stand out in my opinion are the Pistons and the Cavs. So, do you think Lebron can make the Finals as soon as THIS year? I think he has a very good shot. I think he can for sure make the ECF for the first time. If he takes over the series, I can definately see the Cavs beating the Pistons too. So yeah, I think Lebron has a great shot at the Finals this year, and I hope he makes it there.
I definitely think he could. The East is wide open and a team with a guy as good as LeBron has a good chance to win it. The Cavs aren't my pick. I don't know if I'd put them in the ECF yet, but if LeBron's supporting cast steps up then I could see them beating any team in that conference.
No. You do realize Shaq is coming back? Both the Pistons and a healthy Heat team can take the Cavs out. LeBron's supporting cast still isn't good enough to lead the team to the finals.

You guys will continue to go down in the standing for the next week. When Shaq is back he's probably going to have the worst season of his career. He was losing it a little bit last season and he just had knee surgery. A 330-pound 34-35 year old with a knee surgery isn't going to come back and dominate. He will do nothing that Mourning hasn't done already. And you guys don't have your coach for a while either....I'm really not sure that you guys will even make the playoffs.
Lebron will make the eastern finals, not sure about the actual finals. It's one of those things that's unbpredictable right now.

There's no doubt in my mind we'll make the playoffs. We havnt been a 100% all season yet. Once we are, I'm pretty confident we can make a nice second half run. Then after that, things will take care of themselves. When fully healthy we can take out anyone in the East.

We all know Shaq is coming back, heat have nothing to worry about. But yet again, the Season is getting to the mid part and the Heat have a losing record. I'm sure they will make the playoffs, but I don't see them going any father then the 2nd round.Any way, like I said, if Hughes and Gooden and just keep on playing great ball I don't see no one stopping the cavaliers from making the finals. It's to early for me to say this and that, I will always keep the faith that they make the finals, as of all of u guys with your teams. I really think they got a huge shot, Hughes and Gooden are key in success!

I think Wade can carry yall to the ECF and you'll lose to whoever's there. Unless you get the 8th seed and get the #1 seed from the start. I just don't see you guys doing anything this year. You guys have an old team that's not as motivated as they were last year.
LeBron and company could win the East fairly easily on one condition:FINISH GAMES YOU IDIOTS!It makes me pretty mad. For example, early in December the Cavaliers were playing a Gasol'less Grizzlie team. They were beating them around 28 to 6 in the first quarter. They had a decent second quarter, and then some how, some way, they only beat them like 97 to 94. The Cavaliers get leads and they don't play the full game. It happens again and again, last year and this year. The Cavaliers don't like to play all four quarters. When they do, they are an extremely tough team to beat, when they don't, they give up 20 to 10 point leads and lose. Hopefully the tides will change come playoffs. If they do play all four quarters, they will be in the finals and no one in the East will be able to beat them.
My predictions before the season was, Bulls vs Cavs eastern conference finals. And if the Cavs end a game the way they start off, they will make it to the Finals. November 9th 2006 the Cavs put the Fops on my Bulls. But, the Bulls play the best defense in the east if the Cavs let them control the tempo and play their game, well you know what happened December 30th 2006. Bulls will beat them.....The Finals is there for LeBron to take it. He just has to turn on the "go get it" though! There is no real competition in the east for the Cavs. The Pistons are a joke now, the Heat is injured and old, and the Cavs can alway answer Orlando's Magic. Again, LeBron has to really want it this year. And his team is letting him know he can count on them too.
You can't forget about New Jersey.I don't care how there doing now, I am 100% sure that the Nets will get it going once again. Those 3 are a very deadly team to beat.
You can't really say that. Besides Eddie House, and maybe Nachbar, their bench is pretty pathetic. They just lost Krstic. They have no big men now. They are going to et ripped apart down low. Richard Jefferson has a lingering injury. I dont even think they can win the division..

Vince Carter and Jason Kidd are a very deadly duo.Jefferson just adds on to it. I think they should really try to shop him around, get a Big Men. Would help out a lot.
If the Miami Heat do make it to the Playoffs, I hope they face the Nets so the Nets can squash them like the bugs they are... I'm not buggin' neither.Anyway, I think LeBron can make it to the Finals but it depends on whether or not anyone on his team will be ready. Though LeBron can do remarkable things, I don't think he can lead the Cavaliers to the NBA Finals by himself.

If the Cavs can pick up a few pieces, I think they have a shot. They'll need to take out the Pistons, and maybe a Heat team with Shaq. It'll be tough for them, but do I think LeBron can do it? Maybe.
Lebron James can do anything he wants, he's just that damn good. They were a rebound away from beating the Detroit Pistons in 6 games during the semifinals last season. If Lebron James can get solid production from his role players then the Cavaliers can beat any team in the Eastern Conference. If Drew Gooden, Damon Jones, Donyell Marshall, ect can play good during the playoffs then things could get ugly for other teams.

And as for the Heat, you dont know that Shaq will be healthy come playoff time.....And we already know that he is going to be alot worse. He has been sitting for a long time, and I think that is really going to do a number on Shaq. He is going to be very rusty, and I their are ALOT of question marks come playoff time for the Heat. Wade cant do it alone....I think that Lebron could definitely make it to the finals this year. The east is extremely weak and they are easily a top 3 team in the East. Lebron has more experince this season going to the playoffs, so I have no doubt that he will do even better this season. I think that alot of the Cavs success lies on Drew Gooden and Big Z. You know what you are going to get with Lebron....
