Best trade before the deadline hands down, whatever Saarela is NHL-wise won't be known for years. I think most agreed that the Rangers needed a top line scorer so Fast could go back to where he belongs and Staal fits the bill. This is the type of Cup run move that justifies keeping Yandle too, I didn't think Gorton would be able to pull the deal off when early trade rumors suggested Carolina wanted much more.
I think we've all seen that AV will not bench Glass. Glass will be there and probably Fast or Lindberg are odd man out. Which is stupid. But it is what it is.
Are you insane? Fast will never be taken out of the lineup. Period. IF anybody sits it will be Stalberg or Glass.
