Man.... there hasn't been any update on Bosh. If he's going to be out for the year, I'd like to know so I can dump him off my fantasy team.
Why the Blazers are better than the Jazz, by the Jazz radio announcer: http://9ff6f0cfc4959219d77a-827131b...ckcdn.com/lockedonjazz/files/2016/02/2-29.mp3 about 15 minutes in.
I linked the mp3 file, and it is your browser that is selecting the player for that. You can get around it by going to http://weareutahjazz.com/lockedonjazz/ and scrolling down to TIPOFF ā February 29 ā Curry greatness ⦠Jazz road to playoffs if you haven't listened to it already.
It's really cool to listen to someone talk about our team. He really talks up our bench. We are spoiled to have guys like Hendo/Crabbe/Davis coming off the bench. I think all three of those guys could be starting in the league right now.
He did have a battle with Jordan once. Drexler had 42, Jordan had 52. Portland won though, in Chicago. http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/198802260CHI.html Drexler almost had a triple double.
I think Dame is so motivated to become better than Curry. The comparisons piss him off, and the fact that he's from his hometown adds a little extra. I think the duo of Dame and CJ hate being referred to as "Splash Brothers Jr." or shit like that. I could see the Warriors winning another championship, taking the off-season way, and Dame and CJ come back playing at the same level. Dame getting 27-28 and 7 with CJ getting 22-23 and 4.
How awesome would it be if they basically spend 4 months this offseason just going at each other all day long, day after day, trying to make each other better.
Both of em play pissed off. CJ vocalizes it more than Dame to the media, but you can tell they're angry at the world. Still have yet to see much of a synergistic effect when they're better than the sum of two individual parts, but that's what summers are for. Now we have had a season where we see that they CAN work together as a starting backcourt. Now PROVE it that you make each other better.
Ty Lawson was just bought out. So they gave DEN a lotto protected pick for him. And they waived Marcus Thornton. Pretty piss poor decision making by Morey.
Not sure this belongs here, but if Damian Lillard shot as many FT's per game as Harden, Damian would average 29 ppg. And let's say that because of the 4 additional FT's, 2 shots per game wouldn't count against his FG%. Take out those 2 shots and his shooting % potentially goes up to 46%. Again, not sure what to make of this.
I love it. I love that our best player is one of the most driven in the league. It's a breath of fresh air after enduring guys like Aldridge, Miles, and Sheed.
