...I was thinking 30-40 games...a few days ago he swore he would appeal any suspension...not sure what his defense might possibly have been...he just needs to keep his might shut and take his medicine like a big boy.
I would guess his people and baseball worked out a deal that he takes the 30 games without appeal. Of course it was conjecture at the time but this isn't bad considering some of the numbers that were being thrown out there.
It seems about right, almost equal to the punishment they've hand out in football for the same crime.
...hope this guy is not gonna be a problem...on the road the fans will give him hell at every ball park...like we need another reason for people to hate the Yanx. ...and btw, thirty games will cost him roughly $2 Mil in salary.
I was not overly jeeped up when the Yankees got Chapman, for some reason I think he's "head case" material. My hope was for the Yankees to move him on, damn Brian you may have done it again. Has a long chat with a Yankee Fan lady about the status of this team today, we were in complete harmony about 2016.
I hope it all works out. I've seen him throw in person and it's without a doubt a sight to see. I've never seen anyone throw as hard as he does.
