Since he has got back I have watched him in two games, the Magic tonight and the Cavaliers the other night. He looks slow, his shot isn't falling, he made a couple of bad idea's on the fast break like when Grant Hill blocked him tonight. His defense is non existant, he gets the occasional lucky deflection, but for the most part he doesn't play good defense. Another thing I am noticing is that no one is falling for his pump fake either. He kicks that right leg up real quick, and puts the ball up, but it's real obvious it's just a fake and he isn't shooting the ball. He needs to stop kicking that leg when he does that pump fake, it might make people believe his pump fake just a little bit more.

Please roast the guy, literally. As much of a class act he is, and he's been hurt, who knows if he's full strength, it's just hard to not hate him right now. I do attribute some of this to Doc in that he's been playing him way too much for the way he's been playing. Wally is really trying hard, he's just really struggling as well. It's tough to watch him play, but hopefully he can come around soon.

Bingo about his pump fakes. Another thing about them, and why people don't fall for them, is because they are so slow. When guys like Tony Allen or Gerald Green pump fake, it's quick and they are starting their drive as soon as the defender moves his feet one inch. Wally, on the other hand, does it so differently: First of all it's slow. But he also pump fakes, puts the ball in front of his chest, then gets back into his shooting stance. Speed it up a little, Wally. The defender checks the score while you are putting moves on him.

But I'm not going to come in here and roast Wally big time, but there is no doubt that he has been terrible lately. He's an excellent shooter though, I expect him to get back into some sort of rhythm at some point this season. But, if we shopped him around the deadline date, I wouldn't complain. I'd much rather play Pierce and TA for the majority of the wing minutes, with Gerald getting the rest for development minutes (and some Delonte at the 2).

yuck. He's not playing like himself. He's normally a very efficient player, and his percentages are very low, and he's commiting lots of turnovers. This is a very unstable envrironement for him. Things will be a lot better when Paul gets back I'm sure. So yes, people are roasting him now, but things will settle down when the truth returns.

I just think he shoots way to much and all of them look awful. He forces way to many shots.
