the only one that I could recall is Jamaal Magloire, considering what he has done since then. Any more?
Vlade Divac and Latrell Sprewell in 2001, Wally Szczerbiak in 2002, Zydrunas Ilgauskas in 2003.Those are the big ones that stick out to me.
I think Carmelo Anthony not being picked for the All-Star Game last season was a horrible mistake.
Karl Malone his last two years, he lived off reputation rather than what he had actually done. Yao Ming his first two year, Grant Hill elected a starter dispite not playing a game.
Wally Szcerbiak is right on top of my list. There were so many better choices for Shooting Guard / Small Forward, but they picked Wally.

Melo not being picked.Arenas not being picked and getting on because of an injury.Wally being picked.Letting international fans vote (Battier is higher then Marion, TMac 2nd in west when he was doing bad at the beggining all because they're Yao's teammates).

I think you're talking about Vince Carter when he was with Toronto. He hadn't played a game and he was a starter, and he miraculously was healthy enough just to play in the ASG.
you people aren't even close, the biggest all star mistake, is Anthony Mason, and not only that, HE STARTED THE GAME! Didn't even have 17 ppg, but what crackhead let him start this game in 2001?
