Hayes gets hooked, no call. Of course after that, they call penalty on the rangers with less than 5 minutes to go.

Miller sticks it to AV with an empty netter and loses his glove in the process.

It's evident that Vince Mcmahon employs some of these referees.

Is it my imagination or is it a trend...............
Refs calling more penalties to team with the lead
by one goal in the last minutes of the 3rd period.

With the amount of holding , interference etc that seems to occur on almost every play the refs can make a call all the time. The problem is their not consistent. Sometimes they call things and sometimes they don't and thats the problem

Last year the Rangers finished 26th in the NHL in PP opportunities, this year they're 30th with 181 (AZ is 1st with 247). I'm all for letting the guys play but if you're going to let Hayes get hooked to the ice to start an odd man rush in the 3rd you can't make an interference call on Stepan for incidental contact later in the 3rd. The goal review interpretation or lack thereof was interesting because one would think that you would need instant replay to determine when Lindberg bumped the goalie relating to the puck crossing the goal line.
