Durant in a Lakers/Clippers/Warriors jersey would piss me off so much. I hope he stays in OKC or goes east.

We're hearing a report of broadcaster who heard something from a friend who possibly heard it from Durant and there might be another intermediary beyond that. His actual thoughts could be twisted.

Maybe he doesn't want to hitch his ride to Golden State as their already a proven title winner; so he wants to be one of the main pieces of a team getting to the finals. If he goes to Golden State he won't get any credit for elevating that team because they already have the most wins in NBA history. Golden State has Steph, Klay and Draymond so he might be the 4th fiddle. That could be his reservation but his friend simplifies it as Durant wanting to be the man.

Here or on the Rockets he would obviously be one of the top players leading a team that has talent but needs help to contend.

They could get a hell of a talent return for Westbrook. A team like Boston would give up Crowder and Bradley plus a pick. Could send out the pick to dump Kanter's contract and sign Al Horford. Thats a way better two way team with elite offense and defense.

    Bradley
    Crowder
    Durant
    Ibaka
    Horford

Payne and Adams off the bench.

I mean... what playoff team could he realistically move to that doesn't already have a star caliber player?

I can think of one......... Utah. So I guess if he's into that scene, he could always take his talents to Salt lake.

Utah, Memphis, Dallas, Toronto, Boston, Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit, Washington he is the clear far and away #1 star. None of those teams have an arguably top10 NBA talent.

If he really doesn't want to be on a team with another star, which I doubt, it would probably be top10 NBA superstar; not borderline allstar.

We held his hand and talked about what we'd be like together... But never pulled the trigger. Instead we had a one night stand with the village bicycle and fucked it all up.

One thing I will say about KD he has never played for a team with functional chemistry. Something else I find interesting to note is most big time FA's want to feel like the final piece that puts a team over the top. What teams would KD look around the league and truly feel he could put over the top based on what is on the floor already?

Yeah I agree if he does leave he wants to go to a team with him that is good enough to contend but not so good their already a contender without him. Doesn't make sense for him to join the Cavs, Spurs, Warriors. Nobody likes the Clippers.

I would think us, Houston, Dallas in the West. Boston, Toronto, Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit in the East.

I have serious doubts that that joining the blueprint of destructive chemistry known as Houston and his former teammate are going to be high on his list. Dallas is geriatric. Toronto is in Canada. So Portland, Boston, Detroit and Charlotte... Atlanta is a huge ??? IMO.

He'd be smart to go to Portland, but it'll never happen.

Yeah probably most likely he goes to one of those east teams. He gets the chance to beat old man LeBron finally plus doesn't have to face an elite opponent until the finals. Toronto is a neat city with passionate fans where he could be the most epic player in franchise history. Could own a country. They have a great GM. Durant is a unique guy so I could see him picking a city most superstars would never consider.
