Good point. We don't know how Lillard would play with a PF/C that can score in the post because he's never had someone like that on his team. Wes Matthews was the best post-player he's played with.
Yes? He's 11th in the NBA for post touches within 12 feet. No he wasn't Shaq or Hakeem; but we did work the ball into him in the post. Almost all the current post players on those lists play for teams in the lottery. Heavy usage post players hamper a team's offense in the modern NBA.
LMA played in the very high post most of the time. What was his ranking for touches within 12' for us? The Spurs don't have him shooting nearly as many 3's.
He's actually playing more in the low post for the Spurs...Pop even keeps him on the right block instead of the left elbow he loves so much more often since Duncan camps where LA like the ball
That's the key. Every now and then, he earned the nicknamed LaMonster because of his inspired post play. The bulk of the time, however, he was content to to shoot jumpers. I had high hopes for the pick-n-roll with Lillard, but Aldridge never rolls so the pairing gradually lost effectiveness.
They already have 39 wins. They only need to win 3-5 more to end up where I'm guessing we will. I think they can manage that, so still gonna be tough to catch them.
How about we get the lottery instead and use it as an asset. This year was a success already. I don't want happened in Oakland 4 straight times in the playoffs let's get real
4 straight times in oakland? So you're saying it's gonna go to 7 games? I mean, since we won one up here, that has to be your logic. Be careful how you word things.
