Looked absolutely terrible and unprepared for the most of the first period. Lucky to get out of it with the lead. Nash and E. Staal have looked awful together on the same line so far.
These lines have looked just awful and havent worked most of the game. I don't know what this coaching staff does in between the games with so much time.
Staal with a bad late penalty leads to a 3-3 game. Before that the damn puck was two inches away from going into the empty net and sealing the game.
I dont know if I can take another year of some of the passengers on this team and this coaching staff.
These retarded defensemen we have just flip the puck right back to the other team and give them a final rush up the ice.
Hank was friggin godlike. This game probably should have been 6-2 but for him. Our lack of speed on defense particularly boyle, girardi and staal is painfully obvious against any team with size and speed. They just can't physically get the puck out of their end. And Hank who does a masterful job covering up for our inept defense eventually gives one up in the friggin onslaughts he faces.
The one thing that has been off this year has been the overall team speed. Even the guys we know can skate have looked sluggish at times. Hopefully, having Nash back in the flow will improve things.
Speaking about the overall team speed. This team has no identity now. At least they were a fast team for the past few years. Now since getting Staal, they have no identity. They are not physical nor a fast team. I guess, the team's management plan is to rely on hank again. What a plan...LOL
