Hayes has to go. He's a lazy fuck. Yet, he will have value because of his age, size and offense.

This is a time we agree 100000000000000% dump. I want them both scratched. Play Diaz or Skjei until McIlrath is back. I actually rather have Glass than Hayes right now, crazy I would write that.

Hayes needs to be dealt this summer unless he takes a VERY friendly team deal.

This duo combined for a Wings goal yesterday and a Pens goal today. It is not good. Stop playing them together.

This team needs to step up their game man. The past 3 games including this one have been a pile of sh*t.

AV has to be kidding me with these line combos though. Stalberg with Nash and Staal? Seriously? Can't wait to see when they bring back Glass and see him on that line. Jesus Christ.

I'm pretty sure a middle schooler could out muscle Boyle for a puck and put him to the ice these days. Why the fuck is he playing and not Skjei? Good god.

19 shots in first period. 6 shots since. This fucking team is a joke.

When you're playing teams that are below you and fighting for playoff spots you have to bring max effort and maintain it. There has been lapses of late and it seems like everyone ends up with a puck in back of their net.

That's playoff hockey too Mess, especially when you look at our first round opponent the Isles. Do you think at any point the aisles are NOT going to be going 125mph and giving 100% effort? That is why I personally say this team has ZERO chance of winning this year. And after this year, we only get another year older, another year slower, and still have the same shmucks in charge giving out NTC like they're candy and AV not putting a winning lineup out there (whether it was scratching McIlrath al year long, or now giving Staal and Nash Stalberg as a line mate).

Not going to make some big thing out of it, but the Rangers need to take a few days here and seriously think about what they want to do moving forward. The way they have played the last 3 games is not good enough. After the 1st period today the Pens totally controlled this game, and there is no excuse for that.

This is not about talent, there is no doubt we are the deeper better team than the Pens, this is about want to and making the plays you need to make to win games. Sacrificing your body if you need to. The Rangers are just not doing that and simply not making those plays.

Getting 1 of 4 points this weekend now leaves them right in the middle of the mess with the Pens, and Isles, and Flyers and Wings. Yes we still have the edge, but we need to play much better than we have this week...MUCH BETTER.

I really think this is mental now and do we really want it. Maybe we don't anymore...who knows. But what we have seen the past couple of games is not good enough. Maybe this will wake the team up, because we are not a 100% lock for the playoffs if we don't at least play solid, not great, but solid hockey.

One issue you see when they hit these ruts is that it seem at least to me that everyone plays like either they want to squeeze the life out of their sticks or they're over thinking every single little action on the ice. Like they're afraid to make mistakes. To me that kills any smooth free wheeling flow that the team can play with.

And as much as I have stayed away from getting on AV, I do think he needs to step up his game also. Having Stepan take that faceoff against the Isles was ridiculous. Yesterday he puts Miller/Hayes/Yandle out 3 on 3...Wings went down and scored. That is poor coaching IMO. He needs to be better also.

We also got no bounces the last two games, but that is no excuse. The McD play off the post, the Stalberg play just missing, the Richards rebound right to him, the 1st Wings goal, the winner today. Some bad puck luck as well, but when you work hard you get good breaks...seems fair to me.

AV needs to take a look at Boyle and Hayes and decide what he wants to do with those two guys also. I think Hayes will be "punished" but I doubt Boyle will be, that isn't AV's style.

Good time for a little soul searching I think. Are we in or are we out. As the games get bigger we need to decide that.

Don't forget about AVs line combo of Staal, Nash and Stalberg. Wtf is he thinking with that one. I'd rather see Kreider or Lindberg there.

Boyle is finished and should no longer be allowed to be a liability out there. Sorry, you had nice career but you're watching the rest of this season from upstairs.

I agree...but don't see it. AV has no issue benching the kids, but doesn't like to bench the vets.

Boyle and Hayes have been REAL bad the past two games. It is pretty clear right in front of your face. I will predict Hayes is out for Glass, but I think Boyle stays in. I don't like it, but I expect it.

Miller also needs to step it up. Since his good streak of games he has been invisible. Had the EN goal against the Sabres, but has done nothing outside of that.

And let's say you move Stalberg off the Staal line, who do you put in there? What does the top 9 look like?

If this was baseball Boyle is like keeping a .195 hitter in the lineup. He's adding nothing as far as offensive numbers and he's a slow liability out there on defense. Enough is enough with this guy.

No need to worry, we are legit stanley cup contenders. We have a pretty good record. They will figure it out by the time playoffs come around.

Nash choked big time again on that breakway with the tied game in the third. I forgot the last time this idiot scored a big goal. He should not play with Staal. That line is slow as molasses.

I agree Step. We are SC contenders. Not the favorite this year, we all know that, but we are contenders for sure. Just need to get things together.
