Albertsons has always been astronomically high for one reason or another. I'm not sure why they don't sell better product then Fred Meyer or Safeway. The Albertson's over on Cully in Northeast is a cesspool that charges Crazy Prices. I don't shop at Safeway after they did my ex-wife wrong.

I'm a Winco, Fred Meyers shopper...Albertsons and Safeway are way overpriced to me. If I want something special I'll stop by Market of Choice although they are also pricey

You keep blaming Obama for the size of your SS check but that blame falls squarely on the House Republicans that you continue to give your vote.

Air America used to be the CIA front airline during the 1960s, once the public found out about it the CIA shut it down and opened up Evergreen Airlines in quite little McMinville, Or.

Spooky as in spooks, spies, CIA. I knew Del's daughter in college and went to a few parties at their estate. Amazing place.

She's your ex. I'd think you'd be impressed maybe Safeway knew something you didn't?

"It is only the third time in 40 years — all of them during the Obama administration--"

"Jason Furman, the chairman of President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, has put a positive spin on the absence of a cost-of-living adjustment. It results, he said, from a “sharp decline in energy prices that is putting more money in families’ pockets” and is contributing to the economic recovery."

By the Way, Obama Just Vetoed a Bipartisan Bill to Fund the Military, Pay Troops

"Yesterday was slightly heavy on the breaking news front, so this (not unexpected) development went largely overlooked. President Obama held a photo-op to highlight his decision to veto the bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act, which appropriates $612 billion in defense spending -- a figure that matches Obama's military budget request. Among other things, the legislation pays the troops and gives them a raise. It sailed through the Senate with 70 votes, attracting dozens of Democratic votes at both ends of Capitol Hill. But in an escalation of partisan politics, Obama has refused to sign the measure into law in an effort to coerce Republicans into caving into his domestic spending demands:"

You complain about him vetoing the spending bill but don't address the reason why...

Jesus... You don't seem to understand all of the Christmas lights that the Republicans put on those bills... they always put spending cuts to Key Programs in order to make sure the bill doesn't get passed. Then they blame Obama for not passing it.....

They took over the Albertsons that was by my old house. Talk about jacking up the prices!!!!! We moved and then it closed.

We only used Albertsons as a convenience store and did all of our shopping at Winco.

Do you guys have Sprouts? I think they have the same philosophy as Haggen...that people are morons. Yet they seem to be doing well here, how I don't know.

At the grand opening of Sprouts they had the large glass bottles of Perrier that you can get at Winco for 1.38 marked up to 2.99 and then on "sale" for 2.50....

I hate when stores do that shit. Especially when their new "sale" price is higher than their old regular price.

For example, I usually eat oatmeal for breakfast (hello old age and dietary issues!)...it used to be 1.33, then they changed the prices, and the new "regular" price is 2 bucks, but the new low "sale" price is 1.50!

Just found that store Hobby Lobby, the anti gay old white lady store with Chinese junk stocked to the rafters. They have furniture like end tables and shelves and so on. They have a 30 percent off sign in red on everything (in the furniture). Then you read that it is ALWAYS 30 percent off their regular or already low prices or whatever bullshit they print.

If it is always 30 percent off then it is NEVER on sale. Who falls for this stuff?

I used to have to do the math in my head before Winco and their unit prices on the tags. I remember my friend buying 24 packs of Coke that were more than twice as much as a 12 pack.

Oh yeah, I remember reading that JC penny hired a CEO who stopped all the fake sales and put in regular low prices and sales tanked almost instantly and he got canned. Something to that effect, people just fall for it.

Yeah, we have Sprouts but I usually go to Trader Joes. All of the groceries near me are expensive as fuck, I have two chains by me that make Whole Foods look cheap (Bristol Farms and Gelsons)
