VICKSBURG, Miss. — An escaped murder suspect has been shot and killed by a family he took hostage. Rafael McCloud escaped from jail in Warren County, Mississippi last week where he was being held on charges of rape and capital murder. Thursday morning, he approached a man who was starting his car and forced his way into the man’s home. McCloud tied up the man and his wife and then stabbed the man according to WLBT-TV. At some point, the man reportedly got free, got his gun and shot McCloud to death. The man was taken to the hospital, his wife and two children were not injured. http://wreg.com/2016/03/10/escaped-mississippi-inmate-killed-by-family-he-took-hostage/#
Lmfao. I love that the gun is the hero and the suspect used a knife. I thought only the criminals used guns?
You know that one incident, the "Perfect Incident", which is such a convincing argument in support of Gun Rights? You know, where ALL the ingredients are in place, and the time is JUST perfect? Such a perfect incident that chances are actually more likely that it never happens? Well...it happened. This is that incident. I mean.....how often in life is a criminal going to escape from prison with a knife, break into your house, and hold your family hostage? And then you kill him with your legally-owned gun. Well....it happened. Liberals, take note.
So you're saying that an instance like this is so rare that it doesn't outweigh all the horrible things that ready access to firearms have caused? Thanks for proving our point.
No, that's not what I meant at all. I'm saying that Liberals constant argument is that "things like this will never happen, so you don't need them". And yet....it did. And they do happen. The frequency, or the chances of which, shouldn't matter. The fact that they have happened and do happen is why Gun Rights need to be respected for law-abiding citizens. And let's remember: guns don't cause anything. Irresponsibility and criminal activity cause deaths and injury from firearms. I've owned guns since I was 21. I have 7 of them in my apartment. Yet....I'm still here. The stupid woman who's son got a hold of her loaded and unsecured gun, however, is now recovering in a hospital, because she couldn't take 30 seconds of either unloading and securing the firearm, or putting it in a secure holster on her side or in her handbag. That's irresponsibility brought on by an idiot. Not the gun's fault.
Other than the escape, this incident is repeated several dozen times a day in America. Remove the hostage part and this incident is repeated several hundred/thousand times a day in America.
This thread deserves a fuck yeah!!!!!!!! The only thing that could top this is if the first couple of shots were to the dick.
@BlazerWookee is going to want to know if the guy mouthed off before getting shot. I'm kinda hoping he did.

Shoichet and Carma Hassan, CNN Updated 8:24 PM ET, Sun March 13, 2016 (CNN)A customer drinking coffee at a Seattle 7-Eleven Sunday morning drew a pistol and shot dead a hatchet-wielding man who went after him and the store clerk, authorities said. Investigators haven't yet identified the suspect, who's believed to be in his 40s and was wearing a mask when he entered the store early Sunday, the King County Sheriff's Office said. "The suspect did not make any statements but swung the hatchet at the customer and then went behind the counter and attacked the clerk," the sheriff's office said. Then, the customer fired back, according to the sheriff's office. Paramedics tried to resuscitate the suspect, authorities said, but he died at the scene. The customer, a 60-year-old man, had a concealed pistol license, according to the sheriff's office. He was not injured. The store's 58-year-old clerk had a minor injury to his stomach from the hatchet attack, the sheriff's office said.
