Dewayne Hankins is a Senior Vice President for the Blazers so this seems legit.
 
Did the city of Portland make a deal with Playstation to allow them to have Vue as a cable option?
 
Down here it shows the Kings, Warriors, and a generic "CSN" channel, I'll have to try the trial to see if it's the Blazer channel.
 
Btw, yeah, last time I checked Vue and talked about it on here as an option for those that despise Comcast, they are supposed to have csnnw available
 
All right, I just checked on my PS4, it is CSN Northwest, so the "Southwest Oregon" region also gets the channel. If we get it, I bet the whole state does, now this service just needs to come to the Roku and Apple TV.

I don't have a PS3 or 4, is there a big difference in them if I'm only using it for watching TV?

My Ps3 is old as shit, but it can't even connect to the internet anymore, but then the online on my Ps4 isn't amazing either. It might just be the shitty Charter internet.

Ps3 Is going to be obsolete soon. Usually I buy the new Playstation when it first comes out. $400 for using it over 8ish years seems worth it. And you don't have to upgrade that shit all the time like a computer for gaming.

Ps store has games for cheap all the time. I bought NBA live 16 for $16 a couple months ago and rory Mcilroy golf for $13.
Plus you'd be able to have the honor of having me kick you in the nuts in NBA games :)
 
It looks like Amazon Fire and Chromecast works with this too, those would probably be cheaper.

There's a seven day trial, I'd probably try it out for a few days before I did that.
 
We have a PS4 for gaming, but use our PS3 for netflix and watching DVD ( we bought the remote for this). We cna do the netflix just fine, si I assume streaming other things would be fine too?

I don't have great internet down here, but Netflix and Crunchyroll works all right on my PS4 (My Ps3 is really old and doesn't work online anymore) so I'd try it out, you probably have better internet up there.

I have a Chromecast! Only used it a couple of times, I paid like $10 or $15 for it a week after Black Friday.

I don't think I'm that much younger than you? I had shitty aol internet in the late 90s, but that was before my jerkin' days.

I'm turning 30 this year. So 4-6 years in the 56k era makes a big difference in the looking at girls naughty parts when it makes one of us a teenager lol

Okay, yeah, about 4 years then. Back in those days my friend down the street had the Playboy channel so that was fun. Put it in the memory bank and then come home.
 
Really cool news for locals. Id be stoked if I was still in Oregon. League pass works great for me here. Next year ill get it from direct tv though cause the technical difficulties with online streaming get annoying. Sure its usually like 10 games a seaso where ill miss a quarter but when i pay that kind of money for a service i expect perfection or a partial refund and I get neither.
