Has anyone ever written an e-book. In the process of doing one now. Any tips, selling through Kindle/Amazon. I guess I could through it on ejunkie too with a spammy landing page too I guess.
Actually writing a vegas bachelor party guide. I started a few years ago but brushed it off. Been looking more to do more creation at home. About 2000 words so far and everything is formatted in chapters for Kindle Format. yay. Trying to write a bunch of books to get some passive income going.
Another project I'm working on is a guide on moving to Oregon. Gonna populate the state with transplants. :MARIS61:
I'm probably going to be doing one on Vegas on the Cheap as well since I can recycle a lot of the content. Maybe I'll use some of your reward point scam shit in it. :MARIS61:
I've written a lot of books, and a lot of e-books. I am working on one today in fact. PM me and I am happy to give help/tips/ideas.
cool, will do I'm just creating content first, I'll shoot you some questions when I'm further along the process. I've showed it to a few people and they were impressed with it so far.
you take awesome photos prez.....make sure it's illustrated and good luck with your project! If you write a book about Oregon, be sure to tell them it's one big meth lab, horrible crime, bad schools, no jobs, evil cops and a lot of inbred locals
I'm doing Kindle Books, so its going to be all text/content. I could sell PDF e-books too, but honestly I'm not sure if this is the way to go. Just going to test it out and see if its something that's doable. a lot of people are scammy though, they outsource barely legible ebooks to india and then edit them and push them out very quickly. Photos are more if I develop my website project, but that's still in the development stage. The goal is to get enough stuff going so I don't have to work for a boss anymore. I have a few ideas for my "Oregon" project. I have the domain for TheBeaverState.net as well as the twitter and instagram for that, so I might do some kind of guide to moving to Oregon since its probably really well searched. I'll use photos for that, write blog posts, perhaps neighborhood guides. May even get Drone videos of different neighborhoods in Portland so people can see what they look like faster than using a google earth. Looking to possibly generate money through advertising sales, affiliate links, referrals, etc. There may already be sites dedicated to this though, but just in the planning phases. There's already a "dont' move to portland oregon" website. http://www.dontmovetoportlandoregon.com/
