errr umm PG I meant. Paul George. And before anyone has a hair raise moment. Yes As of now, with Dames play and Georges injury, I think Dame is the better player. Wit that Said, PA is a big boy. I think he might play the block pretty well. We should give him a shot! He would be the one guy we could get that would be better than Dame
If the Blazers where more of a veteran ball club I doubt Henderson would be getting less minutes than Crabbe. Let the cake bake!
depending on the game dynamic, it can be either Plum, Davis, Aminu, Crabbe or Henderson. TBH, that's a great 'problem' to have
Ed Davis. I think its very clear and not even a close debate. Ed provides excellent defense while being very efficient on offense. Second highest PER, yes above CJ, which is a stat normally more kind to higher usage offensive players. If our starting lineup wasn't so deprived of frontcourt scoring I'd want him to start. Going forward Ed can play with a wide range of rosters. Bring in a stud center he can backup both front court spots. Bring in an offense forward he can start to provide needed defense. Regardless of who we bring in, regardless of their style, regardless of their position, Ed will be in the rotation. He's just as valuable as Tristian Thompson but one is signed for $80 million one for $20 million. I honestly don't know if anyone else but DameCJ is a key rotational player on most contending teams. Plumlee, Hendo, Aminu? Perhaps they would be; but if there's another star in front of them they might be a little used 10th man. Yeah some guys on the current squad touch the ball more or play more minutes now while we are a .500 team. But to become a contending team who will help the team most at their current level of play? Easy answer is Easy Ed. A player thats not a for certain starter being the teams 3rd best piece is a real concern though.
Ed Davis is probably my favorite player on the team - he gives everything, every night, but asks for no accolades. That being said, it's silly to compare Davis and CJ. Teams don't scheme either their offense or defense around Davis, they do around CJ. As for 3rd best player, we don't really have one. The good thing about our team is that we have a lot of very good players. The bad thing about our team is that we have a lot of very good players.....
omg... guys... okay.. tonight I will do some history on Kaman with this team.... He goes 6-7 one night and hes the third best? hahahahahahah I remember some nights where he went 1-7 with 3 TO's....
OB i'm sorry my friend. I forgot the Sarcasm Font again. Honestly i pretty much agree that it would have to be Davis or Plums but they do things different so it is hard for me to say really. Different times they do good things.
He is the most experienced however. One thing i saw last night was that quick foul on Ginobili totally killing a breakaway after a steal. That was a veteran move for sure.
It was almost a good play. We were in the penalty with a defender behind both their players so I'd rather take our chances in transition than send an 80% shooter to the line. If we aren't in the penalty its a great play. If we want to win the most games this year Kaman may very well be our third best player. He can protect the rim, hit an open jumper, create some offense. If we play him 28 mins I bet he averages 15ppg which would really help. The guy played great off the bench the start of last season and when Rolo first got hurt. Then he was overused and injured. We went with youth instead; its would be a lot less shots for Crabbe and others if Kaman is playing. We haven't used him much all year so he's not in game shape or familiar with teammates. Would be interesting if we start throwing him out there the rest of the season.
When I read the question I thought...the bench mob...couldn't really narrow it down...if I had to choose one guy, it'd be Henderson
that would be great... I'd love to see them make a run at Festus Ezeli. But even better would be having the guy we draft having that sort of potential STOMP
