I recognized and agreed with your statement: ....don't be surprised if the dead kid's family hires a lawyer and sues the homeowner. And I noted something which MAY BECOME significant in this incident- the mainstream media/press. And if this becomes the case and this incident draws local or national attention with the usual protest suspects, we'll probably see a whole lot of members of the "mainstream media" giving publicity and asking those protesters, ect, softball questions designed to make the homeowner look like a typical bad NRA person or try and undermine legal gun ownership... That's all - and one of current most absolute high profile outspoken persons on the the national stage (Trump) has and is sending notice that one of the most influence parts of "the system", the press, has been part of the problem harming (in his opinion) and tilting the culture and and mindset of the nation- along with virtually all of the high profile national MEMBERS from both political partys through the past years. If Cruz or Kasich instead were consistently using simliar strong non-PC criticism of the "media/press", I would've proudly mentioned them......which is also one the many reasons why Trump, and NOT Cruz, Kasich are attracting huge numbers of new voters, crossovers, blue collar, working class average Americans.....and (imo) Cruz or Kasich wont be able to reach those segments of voters if one them become the GOP Nominee. Not looking for a spat......but the "press" "media" and lawyers could become a significant part of this incident. All good '59, no problemo - you're a solid poster.

I just thought if in fact the burglar's family does sue the other family and shooter, it could become a high profile local or national incident complete with THE MEDIA and protesters which will provide the usual indications of how the media has been steadily becoming much too "PC", anti non-liberals, weakening their integrity and just not (by and large) being fair and honest......and (thankfully) there happens to be a loud, high profile voice holding their feet to the fire.
