He should be a high lottery pick. You can tell he grew up learning how to play from his dad the way he looks to pass the ball. High BBall IQ.
Not sold on Sabonis yet. He is still only a sophomore but I thought he'd be better this year in that conference (at least when I saw him play.) We'll see what happens.
I'd trade Meyers Leonard for the draft rights to Sabonis without a second guess. I don't think we could get a first round pick for Meyers though.
Might be able to get one from The Celtics. They have a ton and Ainge usually makes up his mind pretty early about whether there is value or not.
Boston has the 4th pick, and the 17th. I don't think Sabonis is on the board at 17, and I'm not sure we have the pieces to get the #4. Boston is pretty solid right now I don't think they want a bunch of young potential players like Harkless or Leonard.
Yeah. I honestly don't know how the Blazers will get a pick this year. They can always buy one for future considerations but FA will make or break the current team. You can't succeed without signing at least one Type A and market size is not an excuse any more. If we don't get somebody, well just be like the Mariners are in baseball.
He's actually stronger than people think. Wiry strong. What he really needs to work on is some semblance of a right hand.
