I often think a Women's has the right to do with her body what she wants, until a young man, (1st time father); finds out His child is the one being aborted.... I often think, the many women who still suffer from Miscarriages, enough to deeply effect their lives, while grief beyond belief sets in... I stand neutral on that subject...either way, there's 100s of good viewpoints for either side of the issue, but yeah, Keep your Abortions, but hang the Felons...
I've heard it said the state has no right to take a life. I say bullshit if one takes a life by murdering another citizen they have earned a forfeiture of their own. You can tell me all day long that a life sentence is cheaper than an execution but I don't believe that. When that type of crime is committed it should be sped to the front of the justice line. When convicted punishment should be as swift. If Capitol Punishment is maintained fine, put those people in general pop and let the inmates system deal with them. According to a recent article I saw Scott Peterson is living a "comfortable" life on death row. When he was convicted I read there was a line of cons 5 miles long waiting to take him out. Don't know how that guy is getting over. Putting him in general pop, he'd pee his pants like a two year old.
Someone or others have said - I rather err on the side of possibly letting a criminal "go" instead of unjustly incarcerating an innocent person - or words similar to that effect.......any thoughts Tote? I'm sure a couple of you smart fellows know what I mean.
Doesn't happen as nearly as often as you may think.......theses guys are often put in "PC" =protective custody...aka PUNK CITY (PC).... .....see all of these potential felonius "protesters"?????..... …. .......a week or two in Rikers Island (also mentioned in Jack Kerouac's "On the Road") in the general population will give them a better taste of reality when they feel like fucking with the law and thinking they're only going to get some kind of "ticket".
