<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Rok @ May 10 2007, 10:27 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>But now since he won't be out so long, I really don't understand WWE stripping him of the MITB to Edge(don't understand it if were 5-6 mos either). It kills his character in how he was beaten and takes away the prestige of him winning it at Mania. Plus, they had plenty of time to keep the MITB on him since he didn't plan on using it till Mania 24. The countdown they debuted was a waste.</div>I think they were pretty much forced to do it. Remember, Undertaker is out for a few months as well, so they needed to give the title belt to somebody else. Thankfully they didn't give it to Batista, so they gave the MITB to Edge, and I won't say the rest in case I spoil it for some of you who actually want to watch (eh, I kind of already did spoil it, [IMG]).Plus they were talking about moving Orton and/or Edge to SD anyway because SD lacks the "star power," or whatever...

Right now I think we should be patient with the WWE. They are right now just developinng young talent for a start of a new generation. People are leaving because "Oh its so predictable," but thats because they were fans of the attitude era. So this generation is for those who missed those era's and thats why you see kids like my age get in to it becuase they have never been intrested till a certain year( I started when I was 4) Also now with the internet and spoilers it has been so boring. So my point is give it some time.

I guess I can see Taker's injury playing a part but I don't necessarily think scrapping Kennedy's Mania plans for the MITB was a great idea. They could have went another way about it.I still think Kennedy came out weak with the Edge match. Even though he was attacked beforehand, he didn't really sell it well when he was asking for the bell to be rung and looked tense. But again, he can't do much with his injury. Overall, could have done a better job but this is Nickelodeon writers doing the scripting.

Spongebob Squarepants is a much more well written show than either Smackdown or Raw.

Pinoy I really understand where you're comming from. I have been a fan of professional wrestling for at least 12 years. For us who have been long fans or WWE it is predictable and stable. But for this new generation, im sure they have they same excitement I had when I was little. But Pinoy when you say give it time/be patient that doesn't mean much to me. Because for the last 2-3 years I have been wating for that time. And it hasent even come near. So now(Sorry if this sounds crewl) that wont happen until Vince dies and Shane takes over. I feel if anyone Shane is the one to reshape a better form for the WWE. I dont expect a Attutide Era v.2. But I know he would be able to bring back something I actually enjoy for 2 hours every Monday night. But a long with Shane needs to come better writers. The current writers lack too much. Also Shane likes ECW, which is another reason I have faith in him rebuilding the WWE status to us who enjoyed wrestling 10 or more years ago

Some Nickelodeon writers are working for the WWE. Not the geniuses behind Spongebob, but more like Dora the Explorer catering to the sheep audience.

Last time kennedy came back as a face the wwe quickly decided to turn him heel so mabye next they will decided to keep him as a face, I personaly like him as a face even though he can play a heel really well, IMO he's the closest thing to a stone cold personality, he could be quite good in the future and that is if he plays the good guy, fans will like that because kennedy can be cocky and be good with the fans.

meh anyways now Edge vs Batista at Judgement day I hope Edge retains he most likely will I'm getting tired of these Cena/Batista title reigns.I also think Cena vs Khali will be a terrible match but im going assume Cena will retain I dont think Khali has enough crediblity to be champion he only has like 3 moves...

Edge should have a pretty decent run. At least two months, I hope more though. It sucks he has to feud with Batista in the mean time. But Edge vs. Kennedy is gonna be great once Kennedy gets back. Should be some great matches. I just hope Edge stays heel. And no way Khali will win. If the WWE wont book Shawn Michaels to win at Mania. No way they will book Khali to win at some low profile PPV.

It kind of pisses me off how long of a title reign they are giving Cena... it's ridiculous. I think HBK is on top of his game on RAW, and I wish they would of given him some sort of title reign... especially since HHH is out. But with Vince running the show, everything will suck.

Cena wont lose the belt until Triple H gets back. He is probably the only one the WWE would feel comfortable giving the belt. And when they change the spinner belt to some different design...Champagne. Spinner belt has been around for 2 years. It has really made me lose respect for the title sort of

I wish for neither Stone Cold or The Rock to return. Stone Cold can't even go full time anymore and neither would Rock. Plus, I hate the nostaglia factor. How about WWE actually start grooming stars and letting fans develop them. Instead of having guys shove down our throats every single week.

Cena as champion is old, and it really, really, really, really, really needs to change.

Taking the topic off tangent, how about ROH. Anyone getting their ppvs? The first one is July 1, I hope Directv picks it up. It's slated to be only 10 bucks and will run for 2 mos on On Demand. The 2nd ppv lineup owns with Chris Hero, Larry Sweeney, Kevin Steen expected to be on hand. Also, Lance Storm has said he might come back and do some part time work with the ppv's.

All they've shown on RAW the past few weeks is the Cena and Lashley storylines. I like the guys but damn, get someone new.
