    This....we should have won it at the free throw line in regulation...didn't need a 3pt shot..just one free throw and we win..Dirk had 5 fouls, Mathews had 4..drive on them and put up a shot and we more than likely win

    No I don't buy that. Stotts calls plays all the time during timeouts. We have seen it too many time for it not to be their strategy specifically when the game is tied. He just does not want to risk giving the other team getting a chance to get the ball back with a second or two on the clock. I understand it, I just don't like it.

    a bit harsh..Dame deserves to make the final call...but when his judgement is in question, yes Stotts needs to tell him to pass when he is shooting 7 for twenty two

    They could still do very well in the end. They have quite the homestand. They will get lots of practice and that is where you see improvements on defense.

    Well you can look at this a bunch of ways. If Aminu just hits one of those 3s late, Blazers win. If Williams doesn't bank in that 3, Blazers win. If Dame takes a better shot at the end of regulation, Blazers win. To say that they just don't have to talent to compete with a team like that when they would've won if just one thing went differently is a bit overboard. Plus you're on the road, where it's tough to win in the first place.

    Assuming this is pulling from stats.nba.com correctly, Lillard is a 25% shooter in the clutch from 3 pt range...

    That's atrocious. And to think Stotts play-call out of a time out has repeatedly been the Lillard iso to the point where Deron Williams can play A+ defense on him? Terrible.
