we have had this conversation before. The workers are instructed to not ask where those signing up are from. There are dedicated workers intended for those that do not speak english. None of the social securities are verified, I know people that work there and have seen this personally. So contrary to what the law says, what is being done in practice is the reality

If nobody knows, then maybe it's zero. Or less than zero.

What's their to understand? Nobody gives a shit about people here on special programs (visas, etc, etc). That is not what people are upset about. People are upset about the blatant amount of illegals crossing the border and utilizing our infrastructure.

Yes, it's clearly a net positive. In fact, space aliens were going to invade but they found out illegal aliens got here first. So, you could make the case they've saved us all.

Or you could get in touch with reality. Whatever.

Don't say nobody. I'm pissed about corporations bringing in workers on H1B visas and making the employees they fire train their replacements.

Mexico is all for legal immigration, the illegals they abuse from places south of them...not so much.

I'm sure that is illegal under current law. The fired employees can sue and win.

Actually I don't think we need any new laws. Just enforce the current would serve us well. H1b visas are supposed to be used only when you advertise for a talent and the position can not be filled from within the country. An then only after proving that you can't locate the talent does your foreign prospect get the visa.

It is already unlawful to hire foriegn workers without a current work visa.

Just imagine if Trump gets elected, put Joe Arpaio in command at HLS, Chris Christy as AG. The INS starts making checks to see if US companies are in compliance with existing law.
No need to spend time and treasure deporting people. They go home of their own free will, just like visitors are expected. Perhaps a bit tardy but as expected.

Sorry, I wasn't even thinking about that. And I hate that as well; it was one of the main reasons I backed Trump in the beginning, but now hes balking on that a bit, which pisses me off.

If you were making shit up as you went you'd change your tune often too.

The whole thing is a joke.

I mean, I get it. I also understand that sometimes you have to be flexible on your positions in order to get shit done. So compromise is probably the best way to resolve situations at that level; but god damn if I can't stand hearing about people training their Indian co-workers so they can take their job.

    fuck that.
