Happy Easter all. 2-2 in the second of pretty good game. Eric Staal with two goals for the Rangers. Has had good chances for the hat trick. Just hard to listen to the Pens being blown the entire broadcast by the NBC crew.

And of course the NBC audio goes out as usual. Wicked shot by Staal but horrible clear by Lundqvist, as he should've swept it to the other side.

Yeah that second goal was all on Hank. Just not his strong suit to play the puck and yes he needed to go the other way with it.

Pierre should just go sit on the Pens bench.

Can Brassard be any more wreck less with his stick...f*ck. Now a full 2 minute 4 on 3...very good odds the Pens score on that PP. Could cost us any real shot at the second point.

At least we got a point here...pretty solid place for 2nd in the Met still.

I'll say one thing though, the Pens scare me this year with their speed, and I actually like their D. If they get Malkin back for round 1, that will be a very tough series. I rather play the Isles.

Like I said before, getting hags was the best thing ever happened to the shitsburgh.

It's all matter of when you get hot. The Pens have played very well and could be very dangerous. Hell when you have Crosby and Kessel actually wants to play they're tough.

Frustrating L after we killed of the penalty. Getting a point was better than not of course, but the Pens getting an ROW was big for them. If they win the game in hand we'll be 1 point up and they'll own the TB. Tonight was our chance to lock up 2nd, and we didn't get it done.

The Pens concern me this year. I kind of feel them and the Caps are due against us, but you drop the puck and play the games and see how it goes.

After tonight you have to think a Rangers/Pens series will happen as both got points, but we'll see.

The Rangers are the kings of weird deflections to lose.

Lucky to get a point tonight. That's actually a big deal to hold onto #2 in Met.

That was the 9th game the past 15 nights, it looked like it. 6 left in the next 12 days, not bad. They are going to get the 2 spot still.

I guess the one positive was Eric Staal looked dominant finally

Crosby, Hags, Kessel, maybe Malkin back, Kunitz, and Letang. A lot of speed and talent. And MAF is actually good now.

We'll see how it plays out, but now it looks like NYR/Pitt in round 1. Not too concerned about home ice, it doesn't mean much IMO, but that is going to be a real tough series.

    Looking forward to it.

Yeah the Pens have been playing a lot better. I think I would still rather play them then the Islanders though despite games like tonight and despite having Halak out

The pens can thank the ducks for saving their season.
