Hey guys do you think Vince Carter will be traded to the Clippers along side with Jason Kidd? Rumors say that the nets will get Corey Maggette and Cutino mobley.
What rumors? I doubt this rumor has any truth to it, The Nets would never trade away Vince Carter and Jason Kidd for Cutino Mobley and Corey Maggette. Kidd is a hall of fame point guard with a few good years left in him and Vince Carter is capable of scoring 30 every night.This would declare the Nets as a lottery team the minute the trade goes through, you can't replace Jason Kidd with any other point guard in the league besides Steve Nash.
hahahahahahaha, there's no way that's a rumor, because it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. WOW.
I could maybe see the nets trading them 2 but not for mobley and maggette. I think that Marcus Williams will be pretty good if he starts though.

He won't be Jason Kidd or anything, but he will be more than servicable.I doubt how valid this is also, is there a link to a valid site that says this or anyting?The only reason why I could see the Nets doing something stupid like this, is they see something they are liking in Marcus Williams and think that he can take over for Kidd and do a fine job, and they want to win the lottery this year and get Oden or Durant. As I said, I doubt this is true, but if they did it that would be the only reason why I would see it happening.
Who knows maybe the rumor is not true but last time when I watched the Lakers vs Nuggets they say that maybe Vince Carter is ''rumored'' to be traded.
This would be the worst trade of all time. The Nets would be trading their two best players for an old player, and a guy who is injured almost every year. Vince Carter and Jason Kidd for Maggette and Mobley? If that went through, that would be one of the biggest jokes I have ever seen.
There was an article about this a few days ago on RealGM I believe, and it all it stated was that Carter or Jefferson could possibly be sent to the Clippers in a deal for Maggette, but in no way did it say that Jason Kidd would be traded as well.
Rjeff could be in a deal possibly but right now I highly doubt the Nets would trade Kidd or Carter. Kidd is a lock for HOF at PG and VC is one of the best scorers in the league, I doubt they would trade those two especially when all they are getting back is Maggette and an overpayed Cuttino Mobley
Jason Kidd is not going to be traded. We have Rod Thorn as our GM people, maybe your getting us confused with the Knicks. We dont do stupid deals, we do smart ones. Carter or Jefferson might be traded, but im telling you now no way ever Kidd will be traded. He loves it here, we love him. Hes the best PG in the legaue with Nash. Why would we trade him? It just makes no sense, dont even talk about Kidd leaving.

JR can go to the 6th man role.I still don't see why Denver is not making a move to get there bench better first. And get better D cause AI, and JR can get killed out there with the lack of there D combined. And going after Pau to get better at PF would not hurt either. Even though I don't think they can get Pau it's worth a try Martin is always injured.
