I care, because those are team accomplishments and shouldn't be the be all end all to judge individual performance.

97% of players in the league ends up losing each season. A player can be in that group of losers and be elite.

Then winning should be in the criteria, and frankly, Chris Paul hasn't done it.

But we're talking about top 10 of all time. They should be in the 3% to be considered in the top .0000001%... Otherwise, it's just a bunch of Kevin Love stat padders.

    At least make the finals.

paul has brought his teams to the playoffs 7 times, and played outstanding in those playoffs. kevin love has done zero of those things.

In spite of the fact that it's Magic and the Lakers, RHCP's song is one of the better basketball-themed songs ever recorded:

In spite of his Lavender-and-Urine-stained existence, I liked him right up until he pretended to get AIDS and stole Clyde's All-Star MVP trophy.

Padded his stats, no finals appearance.

Hey, I lowered my threshold, and he still doesn't make it. ;)

Michael Jordan played PG for about 3/4 of a season on year. He said he didn't want to play PG anymore so they moved Pippen to PG.

Jordan averaged 32.5 PPG and 8 rebounds and 8 assists per game. Not exactly averaged a triple double, but impressive nonetheless. He had 15 triple doubles that year.

So, your top-10 all-time PG's: Magic, Isaiah, Stockton, Cousy, Parker, Curry, Kidd, Payton, Wilkens, Frazier? Who'd I leave out?

Westbrook's team is the hottest team in the NBA.
Chris Paul has won more playoff rounds than Dame. Chris Paul knocked off the defending champs last season and his career isn't over. Took Dirk awhile to win a title but he was always good.

Chris Paul has been in the league far longer. Lets let Dame have a fair shake, mkay?

And no, Dame shouldn't be in the discussion for top 10 all time yet. Lets just make sure inferences weren't happening.
