I tried. I told myself I was switching to Frontier. Called them up, had a deal picked out I wanted and everything. Frontier told me I couldn't have the deal I picked out and the cheapest internet was $60/month for 50 mbps internet because my neighborhood just got fiber internet. So I call Comcast, and tell them I'm quitting. The customer loyalty person gives me some shit offer at first. Then comes back with 75mbps internet and cable tv, with streampix and HBO for $79.99 with a pricelock for two years. I seriously have no idea how any of you guys can complain so much about them. It's too easy to get them to give you what you want. They literally beat the competitors pricing for me EVERYTIME.
Comcast won't lose customers to other providers. Tell 'em no to the first offer or two, and they sweeten it every time. Sirius radio is the same way. I keep re-upping 6 months at a time for $4/month.
