I hope D'Angelo Russell's motivation was being a member of the Religious Right. That will make the Laker Civil War all the more delicious. Next season, I hope for 82 48-point Laker losses.
Ha ha. This is fun to research. http://www.hoopsrumors.com/2016/03/rift-develops-between-dangelo-russell-teammates.html ----------- http://www.latimes.com/sports/lakers/la-sp-ln-lakers-d-angelo-russell-20160206-story.html
Theres always been crap like this going on. Charles Barkely getting in bar fights throwing guys through glass windows. Karl Malone raping a 13 year old. Honestly I think the league has a lot less of this stuff today than 10, 20, 30 years ago.
It is a big deal, videotaping a teammate in an area of assumed trust and violating that trust. Lots of people have secrets in their personnel life they don't want exposed.
It's a big deal man. The NBA is a brotherhood. The players definitely have an "us vs them" feel about the media. The locker room is a sacred place, and you just don't violate the trust of your teammates. Whether Young was doing something wrong or not, videotaping him and then posting it online is a HUGE violation of trust between teammates.
The one thing that struck me was how different people take things. Not only is it not sad but the single best thing about it is that Kobe has to deal with it while he steals the last bit of his contract. Just makes it sweeter.
It's even worse that he's the point guard. He should be a leader. Such a polar opposite from the kind of effect that Dame has on our team. Reminds me a little bit of the drama surrounding the Mavs back in the 90s. http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dal...tween-jason-kidd-jim-jackson-and-toni-braxton
What about Tony Parker hooking up with his teammate Brent Barry's wife? Man that Spurs machine keeps shit on lockdown.
