http://m.mlb.com/news/article/169765640/yankees-andrew-miller-injures-right-wrist http://www.pinstripealley.com/yanke...ndrew-miller-wrist-bryan-mitchell-toe-bullpen UPDATE (8:13 p.m. ET): Jack Curry, YES Network insider, is reporting that Miller's CT scan revealed a chip fracture in his right wrist: My guess, is being on his RH wrist, Miller sounds like he's going to tough it out, the bruise ie. If on his throwing wrist/hand, this would be a game changer for a Team that will wilt IF their SP's can't stay healthy, then they sure as hell can't win. Mitchell may not even be called on, if the Starters can stay in 6 plus, with no more 5 .00 IP avg's.; this year, and off CC, he's as bad as his ST numbers are, and if CC is only putting 22 men on base in 12 IP, with a closer to 6.0 ERA, and I'll not get excited yet because after all its only ST...??? I can hear Trashman and Hanky (like you'd blow your nose on), saying as much ... still this entire show depends on One thing, stay healthy, or die trying, not just for the aforementioned SP's, but the whole Team, and- this may be where the Team really misses the Cuban Missle Chapman....! If Miller can't throw, or field, which I bet he will, on Opening Day...? or ?
...as I pointed out in the other thread, it's a shame that either CC or Nova get the nod over Mitchell for a starting spot on the roster.
it is a lowdown dirty shame at that, I'd much rather see Mitchell at least get a shot at a starting job...give 'em a chance, the Yanx have nothing to lose by starting Mitchell, a welcome sight it would be, IMO 2...
It did suck, only the 5th game this ST; broadcast here, 4 HR's in 5 IP, pathetic, at least Aroldis looked good.
