Love will be traded this offseason according to this scathing report of the situation: http://basketball.realgm.com/analysis/241378/The-Unsolvable-Current-Construction-Of-The-Cavaliers
No. A travesty is a Broadway musical with a bad tenor. If I have a bad memory of that trade it will be gone after the draft anyway. Olshey is still one the most competent GM's in the league, no doubting that.
Then why talk about it? Why not just move on if you already know you're going to be over it? I thought the trade was great. It didn't work out, but that doesn't make it bad. Trades not working out happen all the time, BAD trades (ala Brooklyn giving us a 1st rounder for Wallace, and the KG debacle) do not happen as much.
Actually, I would love for the Warriors to do that. That would make the Blazers one of "The Magnificent Seven" of the 2016 regular season.
As much as the Warriors bug me, I can't think of another team, besides Portland, that I would rather have win it. I hate everyone else more. (SA, OKC, Clippers, LeBron, Boston.....) I guess I could root for Toronto since I don't travel there for work anymore.
Its the basketball hall of fame; not the NBA hall of fame. He most certainly deserves it and its not even close.
He should be for both his sake and the Cavs. He plays the same position as LeBron and if you look at their historical shot charts its identical spots on the floor. They don't complement each other at all.
or coach. Unfortunately for him, I don't see him winning any more championships, and I see him being a bad coach/GM will be his legacy.
Yep, it used to be SAS, because I respected the organization and their long running success. I'm not as butt hurt about Aldridge as many Blazer fans, and even though I think Klay Thompson is a bit of an arrogant douche, if the Spurs and Warriors meet in the WCF, as expected, I'll be rooting for the Warriors. CLE under Blatt 30-11 = .732 CLE under Lue 23-11 = .676 Yeah, LeBron got his little buddy a head coaching job, but he's in a bit over his head. Serves him right for leading a mutiny when his team had the best record in the East. BNM
