Not sure what you're driving at, but as usual, whatever, just because you're wearing your voice of reason hat, it still doesn't necessarily make you right. So be it....keep plugging. I can say this much - I'm not the one calling the current front running national populist candidate who has gotten millions of more votes than the 2nd place guy "an idiot", a "chump", "Hitler", "not qualified".....ect..... Also, and I have to admit, I do get a chuckle whenever I see you waive around and emphatically point to "polls" concerning a potential match-up between Hillary and Trump in an election which is SEVEN MONTHS AWAY. Hey, whatever floats your boat. We ARE here partly for entertainment. Keep the flag flying.
that's the problem in itself, you should be aware, any Chump Supporter is a vote for Hillary. Do you want another Libtard POTUS...? and, you should know if you ever studied World History, the last great Nationalistic Country was WWII Japan....but go on, tell us how great the man you stand behind is, back to ignore....
Please don't try and lecture me on history......and you shouldn't assume you're "older", have more varied life experience than I do. You claim a vote for Trump is a vote for Hillary- yet by all accounts Trump is the driving force behind record breaking voter turn out.....and the last time I checked, HE was the one getting more votes than any other individual GOP candidate. It's been said often on the board that Trump only has a ceiling of 35-43 % of the votes but guess what(?) NO OTHER INDIVIDUAL GOP CANDIDATE HAS MATCHED IT. Do you see anything wrong with that attempt at besmirching Trump's "limited vote ceiling"? Another thing- I never said I "loved" Trump. The voters, or probably the GOP machine at the convention will determine his chance at becoming the Nominee. He answers more questions and has more interviews from more different media outlets than Cruz and Kasich combined - from the outset. He speaks his mind, obviously doesn't have and isn't a fan of rehearsed canned answers.......and as we go along with process, the people will see and judge him accordingly. One thing you can be most definately sure of is there will be no orchestrated planned attempt from the GOP machine to HELP HIM and assure him becoming the Nominee. What more can you ask for? Shall they kidnap him until after election? Oh, one last thing- be my guest if you want to "ignore" me - personally speaking, I'm not a big fan of putting on blinders and plugging my ears.....I guess I'm kinda kooky in that way. I'll just continue to make my contributing posts for people to see and read if they care to. But, um.....if ever there was a poster who I would lean towards "ignoring", YOU have moved near the top of the heap. lol Just too many times of you conviently overlooking or ignoring legitimate points while exaggerating and misquoting parts and comments from various posts of mine. Matt- this isn't a struggle for survival on a deserted island......it's common small talk involving a presidential campaign......and of course some BASEBALL.
...lol...there's that "pot, meet kettle" thing rearing its ugly head again...the man is obviously "an island unto himself". ...regardless, anyone who ignores what the polls are telling us and is still pimping Trump at this point is, well, completely delusional. But it's always easy to dismiss the polls when they inconveniently counter one's myopic agenda.
...once again, you completely miss the point...why do the simplest of concepts escape you? ...you still cannot grasp the difference between primaries for each party and the general election...they are 2 separate things...it does not matter how many delegates Trump amasses because head to head vs Hillary or Cruz in November he loses huge. ...again, does this need to be written with crayons in order for you to understand it?
.regardless, anyone still pimping Trump at this point is, well, completely delusional.[/QUOTE] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Question- does this mean you believe Trump will neither have more delegates than Cruz, or, won't reach the needed 1237 delegates? Step right up- help this delusional political spectator.
...no need to post the same thing twice...I read it the first time and marked it as irrelevant, and that applies to the second time too. ...still no dispute of what Kasich said in the link I provided?...or maybe yet another Trump/Reagan analogy?
'59, honestly, no kidding around- as I've said more than once, I understand the machinations of the primaries AND how the GOP can literally change rules on the fly at the convention.....and the General Election in November is (of course) a totally different animal - but what I really want to convey to you is the Nov election is 7 months away, and do you, or can you find anything which may lend you to believe things can change and alot can happen between now and then for ANY candidate which could swing the "numbers" in either direction? You don't see any validity in possible factors (campaigning, ect) in the next SEVEN months which could have a significant effect on the outcome? I know darn well you have your head screwed on right - which makes your emphasis on a projected outcome seven months from now puzzling to me.
...do some research...polls/projections this late in the game usually ring true. In a general election vs Hillary or Sanders, Trump loses big time. ...like I said earlier, ignore the polls all you want but they do have validity. Trump has a terrible favorability rating, the worst of any candidate in the last 30 years and there's no ignoring that fact. ...fwiw, if Trump does not secure the nomination ahead of time or if he does not win it on the first ballot, he is screwed.
fwiw, if Trump does not secure the nomination ahead of time or if he does not win it on the first ballot, he is screwed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I hear ya loud and clear and this hasn't been a secret. We know the GOP wants him OUT. But (imo) the probable results of the GOP convention is going to leave them between a rock and a hard place as Trump HAS energized the GOP turnout and if, if he is turned away while having a large delegate lead, there's going to be ALOT of GOP voters, possible crossovers / Independents and blue collars staying home in disappointment and anger harming Cruz (?) and giving Hillary a relatively easy victory. The 1976 GOP convention wasn't similiar with totally different dynamics. Ford was already a sitting President entering the convention with approx 1180 delegates to Reagan's 1069......."close" but Ford's victory/selection was quite understandable and reasonable in retrospect. My opinion, if Trump gets ousted at the convention while having a very sizeable delegate lead AND not far from the 1237 -- Cruz, or whomever the choice is will suffer because of the legions of Trump voters staying HOME on election day. Hey, who knows, maybe Cruz will surge and pull even or take a lead over Trump in the coming primaries. We'll see how things turn out.
I'm still waiting for the next chapter to be written in the book titled How the Witch Gets Away With It. In my opinion this "investigation" has been nothing more than a sideshow. Just in time for her crowning in June they will come out and tell us that there's no criminality in anything Hillary did and there's no evidence to suggest an indictment.
WOW, now that IS Amazing, and we're just getting started. Like You said, "I'm still waiting for the next chapter to be written in the book titled How the Witch Gets Away With It". That is a new chapter, lets tear her lying, fraudulent, flip flopping charade or campaign & life apart. IMO, this entire FBI investigation, has become a joke, tho' I've always wanted it to result in real justice, not the dog and pony show it is. Hillary is at such a high level, seems the rules don't apply, yet for those in much lower white collar or blue, with lesser offenses, would definitely serve time, with immediate prosecutions. I've seen it happen to a few people, who've mishandled TSAR (Top Secret Access Required) documents. One of several offenders, I worked around, is spending 60 years time in Leavenworth, with chance of parole after 40, he will be 76 if he makes it out...and that's just the tip of the No-bel iceberg... Had this case been exposed a year earlier, even with a guilty prosecution, Obuma would of pardoned, her, or IMO has done what he does best behind closed doors, make sure she's not prosecuted...jest a thought, I'm working on (without hurting myself)...
Trump has jumped the shark. Sad thing is that he knows it, his campaign knows it but his sheep fans aren't getting the message. He really screwed himself on the loyalty pledge, his SC delegates won't survive challenge before the first convention vote and expect them to stream to Cruz and Kasich. Trump also recently publicly ripped at his campaign mgr after the abortion debacle with MSNBC. It really exposed his as the power that most of us know he is. He's not pro-life, he's playing a pro-life character and doing a shitty job at it. You can't just wing policy and issues the way he does and it's costing him dearly.
http://www.nationalreview.com/artic...helle-fields-corey-lewandowski-lies-followers The Donald Trump of the last week is the exact same Donald Trump many of us saw a year ago or five years ago. He’s always been full of sh*t. He’s always been a total ignoramus when it comes to public policy, lacking the simple sense of patriotic duty to do his homework on the issues. He’s always been a nasty and boorish cad. He’s always pretended to be a conservative while working on liberal assumptions of what conservatives want to hear.
