So start asking away. As always, give me a pm if you want to participate. I'll put you on the list. :happy0144: I'll start things off with a few.1.Where do you go to school? I'm currently a freshman at Florida International University in Miami, Florida2.Favourite part about BBW? Great members, lots of active posts and GFX!! =)3.Are the Heat a real threat in the East this year even with their lack of stellar play? I think they can be a <u>real</u> threat but only when they have all of their players playing. This season, the Heat have been hampered with injuries and that's what's really hurting them each and every game. They haven't really had all of their regular starters in the same lineup so they're slowly adjusting. But, you can't really replace a Shaq... 4.Who's winning the West? Suns, Spurs, Mavs, or Other? Even though I don't like them, I'm going to have to go with the Mavs. They are truly dominating this season and I see them being in the playoff finals again.5.Favourite drink? Juice-Minute Maid Fruit Punch; Soda-Vault or Jamaican Cola Champagne; Other: Gatorate and Powerade6.Xbox or PlayStation? Playstation mainly because I have a PS2 and it's one of the best systems out there7.Favourite singer or band? I don't really have a certain one but if it'd have to choose, the Black Eyed Peas or Sean Paul8.Favourite poster on your wall? Well I took most of them down so I could put up my high school momentos but my D-Wade one... 9.Any brothers or sisters? I have a twin brother, we're both 18.10. Favourite player? Dwyane Wade for the men and even though she retired, Dawn Staley for the women.11.Play any sports? Basketball in my spare time and I used to play badminton in high school12.Favourite actor? Samuel L. Jackson13.Favourite movie? Probably any basketball movie but I really like Coach Carter the most14.Best thing you got for Christmas? Money!! 15.Last book you read and was it any good? I'm assuming you don't mean a textbook so I guess my last book would have to be The Innocent Man by John Grisham.</div><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Ginger Jesus @ Jan 10 2007, 01:52 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Post your pic. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Ginger Jesus @ Jan 10 2007, 06:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>You said you're from FIU. What are your thoughts on the Miami/FIU brawl?</div> :HAHAHA: I didn't think anybody would bring that up. But yeah, actually, I do go to FIU and my brother goes to UM (Miami). We were both actually at the game as well. Honestly, I think that it was way overhyped by everybody involved: the media, the fans, the players, etc. The players are all friends with each other and they basically wanted to see who was better. Tensions eventually ran high and I could tell during the game that something was gonna go down because after mostly every play, players were pushing each other around. I think it was stupid of the players and the fans to fight but I do understand that when tensions are running as high as they were and when there's so much pressure on the players, things like this can happen. It's always bad for fighting to occur in any sport but like the FIU community and the UM community have, people move on and learn from their mistakes and try not to make it happen again. Now, most of you probably know the two teams are playing again next season, I kind of have a feeling that there is a strong possibility that the fight might happen again but I hope it doesn't. It's bad for both FIU and UM and it doesn't really accomplish anything.
Why do you like Dwyane Wade?Who is your favorite retired player? What is your major? Not a question, but I played badminton in a class last year. It was pretty awesome.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BALLAHOLLIC? @ Jan 11 2007, 04:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Rapid Fire has been dead for everybody lately, Tsk Tsk.</div>One would think if Ginger Jesus did it, it would be revived as Ginger Jesus is one of the last big namers around here not to do it. However, Ginger Jesus won't do it at this time, as Ginger Jesus is displeased with this place. Not to mention, you didn't post any questions balla, what's up with that.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Justice @ Jan 11 2007, 06:27 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Why do you like Dwyane Wade? Because he plays for the Miami Heat (my favorite team) and because I just love his overall game, he's a very unselfish player and he helps his teammates get better. He never disappoints on the court.Who is your favorite retired player? It'd probably have to be Michael Jordan. I think he really did a lot for the game of basketball and he along with others have made it what it is today. What is your major? I'm currently a freshman, going to be a sophmore next year so I have plenty of time to make up my mind but I'm planning on a double major in Accounting and Finance. Lately, I've been thinking of a minor for something in graphics but then again, I might just do the two majors and do graphics on the side. Not a question, but I played badminton in a class last year. It was pretty awesome. Yeah, it is. I played it for about 3 years. My friend always used to say it wasn't a sport but hey, if golf is considered a sport in high schools, then badminton definitely beats golf. :shifty2: </div>
