Thomas, who has missed 13 games, practiced Monday and yesterday and has been cleared to rejoin Coach Eddie Jordan's injury-depleted rotation when the Wizards host the Chicago Bulls at Verizon Center. Brendan Haywood will continue to start; Jordan said Thomas's role will be determined by how quickly he gets back into game shape. "You know how he plays: that force, that tenacity and the power," Jordan said. "He was really protecting the rim. At all costs. Shot blocking. Taking charges. Rebounding. We missed that."</div> It'll be great to have him back. I think Etan Thomas is a little underrated. He is very tough, he brings rebounding and shot blocking, and he's a hustler. I have always liked Etan Thomas, and I'm happy he's having a good year. But having him back in the lineup is a huge plus for Washington. And to think, you guys have been doing so well without him.
He gave us a slight spark, he should be a dominant force off the bench. His energy off the bench really helps us out in the bench productino department which we've been lackin in the past couple of days. He did a great job tonight for not playing in 15 games. Niice.
Glad to see him back on the court again. It's refreshing to have a player back, and healthy from a previous injury.
Etan with 5 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal. I'm glad he took it a little easy tonight and he provided some energy for us out there on the court like he always does.
