Anyone familiar with redlettermedia.com? They just released a self-produced movie called Space Cop. I bought a digital copy and watched it last night. If you like these guys to boot, you'll dig the movie. Hilarious.
I'm probably gonna go see BvS again tomorrow. I also wouldn't be surprised if I go a third time before it's out of theaters. I can hardly wait til the 3 hour unrated director's cut is released.
I'm definitely going to watch it again in the theater at some point. Is the director's cut going to be released in the theater?
Saw Batman v. Superman on Sunday. I liked it. Maybe it was the poor reviews that gave me low expectations.
The action in Batman v Superman was fantastic, but the storytelling wasn't great. The movie felt a bit disjointed, like they were trying to cram too many storylines into the movie. Some of the scenes felt tacked on. But it's Superman versus Batman! It's a spectacle you shouldn't miss!
Agreed. The beginning is definitely disjointed, and the story telling for why they are at odds with each other is a little rough, but at least they tried.
Not a movie but 'The Ranch' on Netflix isn't bad. The show will likely be re-newed for another season. Weird seeing Kutcher and Masterson as brothers. It's a sitcom, with a laugh-track and all, but they cuss like sailors.
I watched a great documentary called Slaying The Badger about Greg Lemond's quest to become the first American to win the Tour De France. To say that NOBODY wanted to him win is putting it mildly. Fucking amazing story. Watch it on Netflix.
Watched Zootopia this past weekend. Had heard good things about it. It was actually a pretty fun movie.
I only knew the one important death but it didn't ruin it for me like my friends ruining the ending of Seven so many years ago. What's in the box? ??????
Lemmy's doc on Netflix is awesome. He had a net worth of $10m but lived full-time in a $900/month generic apartment off of sunset blvd. Metal star but he was a regular dude. Well, one who drinks, smokes, and does speed.
Watched the first hour of Hateful 8, loved it. Had to return the rental as we wouldn't have time to finish it..long story, as long as the movie. Loved what I saw, looked beautiful. Glad my screen is 135 so this didn't look too small stretched out. Watching Mad Max Fury Road 3d, looks beautiful and sounds amazing. Dolby Atmos is pretty awesome, I didn't care for the story the first time but it is quite an experience anyway.
Yeah, that's the one I knew too, but it isn't a big deal because it's the least surprising thing about the movie.
To paraphrase Dave Grohl: "You know what Lemmy does when he gets done with a tour? Opens a bottle of Jack and writes another fucking album."
