    Unfucking believable. "MY BABY WAS ONLY 16" Yeah and he was a known gang member with prior arrests who had a gun & was running from the police. This was not a damn alter boy. Holy shit! wake the fuck up people. Its amazing how every black person who is shot by a cop is made out to be a saint. If the parents need to blame some someone try looking in the mirror. Hell like they say, There's no cure for stupid.

    He was only sixteen, only sixteen, I loved him so,

    Here in St Pete recently a guy had some young chicks in his car. When he stopped to run into a store they stole his car. He reported the car stolen at the earliest possible time. The police located the car while being driven treating it as a joyride theft, no violence involved. End result was the car being driven into a pond all occupants killed. First thing out was "they were so young". Bad motions make up bad gigs. Mu outlook does not change, the police are here to provide protection and public service, if they have to get aggressive with individuals so be it. In 99 out of 100 cases they are Johnny on the spot.

    ^^^ Yeah, and his Auntie's comment was just telling;

    "He's a typical Chicago teen male, no different than any other young man living in this city, facing some of the same challenges and trials and tribulations," his aunt Karen Winters said.

    ...really?...he was "typical" of young males in Chicago?

    SHIT! for the sake of Chicago I hope not.

    I am so sick & tired of these over blown bullshit reactions. "He was just standing on the corner minding his own business just reading his bible waiting for the next old lady he could help across the street. Just thinking about opening up a youth center some day so he could help troubled children & hopefully with Gods help perhaps raise enough money to put some underprivileged poor child through school".

    Queue Oingo Boingo's....Only a Lad

    Jail/Prison no longer a deterrent.... Bring back chain gangs and hard labor camps. Time for complete suspension of civil and hamun rights for felons.

    If that doesn't work, give Black Lives Matter their worst nightmare.... Street judges named Dredd.

    Black lives matter is nothing more than a movement of convenience.

    There is a "White Collar" Facility adjacent to Maxwell AFB Alabama. The "White Collar" criminals do roads and grounds work on the base. Heard one instance of a General Officers wife serving lemonade and cookies. Real crock of shit there people who do crime should do time, Lottie, Dottie and Everbody does time for crime. No more white collar jails, let the cons pecking order determine life inside. And as for those GI Joes at Maxwell, pulling "shit details" was a rite of passage when I was a young trooper, get with the program.

    My pop, God rest his soul used to say "there are 2 classes of colored; negros and n*gg?&S. The former would answer, yes officer or no, officer. The latter would say fuck you pig. By placing my gun in his mouth or my boot on the back of his neck I could produce a miracle and turn this n*gg?& into a negro."

    Dad did his rookie police work in DC during the early 70s race riots. He was an advocate for Rudy Guilliani style policing and also opposed militarization of police.

    Michael your dad sounds like a very wise man. My grandfather was a NYC cop for 27 years 1910 to 1937. A better man never lived.

    I was stationed in the Military District of Washington from late '79 to '81. On of our company members was a DC Policeman who had joined the reserves and did his initial time with our unit. Very sharp man, professional, cool as a cucumber. We knew that if push came to shove on the DC streets this guy took no crap. Gained mucho respect for the DC Police working with that guy.
