If I wanted to name a sleeper team in the East, it would be the Indiana Pacers. Personally, though I don't really have stats to support, I do have a bad feeling about facing the Pacers come playoff time.

The Pacers are doing good. But what exactly is a sleeper team? A team that is going to do a lot better than expected? Wizards then!

That could kill them in the playoffs, it did last year. Reguardless, I somewhat agree because I love that three headed monster of Arenas+Jamison+Butler offensively. In the west I could see Minnesota doing some damage come playoff time. They have a lot of underrated players and Mr. Moper Mark Blount has been playing great lately. Oh yeah, they also have Kevin Garnett

Another way is I you think a there is a team that will slip into the playoffs, but shouldn't be taken lightly.

The knicks.. oh wait, I thought you wanted teams who were asleep. I'd say the Nuggets, just because they have Allen Iverson. He proved a couple years back that he can single handedly change one game, which is dangerous around playoff time. They are my sleeper, but I don't think they can take out one of the big 3 in the west.

I think the Bucks could make some noise late in the season going into the playoffs. Of course they won't go far without playing defense but with Redd their just as good as anybody on offense.
